Features: Trademarked tent-top design is easy to use and carry. Push-button lid design for convenient one-handed operation. Lid swings open to either side for easy access to contents. 7 qt cooler

This is my 2nd 7 qt cooler, which I use as a lunch box for 2nd shift. There is enough room to carry utensils and salt and pepper along with my lunch. I used the first one over 15 years until it was stolen out of my car.

latch broke

Had my previous playmate lunch box for 30 years, Had to finally get a new one. The latch broke after one month. Very disappointed. You have cheapened down a product that was great.

cooler a bit small

I measured another cooler that I have and the cooler I bought had the same measurements as the new one. It did not carry anywhere near the cups that I drink tea from as I travel around the country. It is too small for my purposes.

Need a size between 7qt and 16qt!

This cooler style is excellent, easy to use with one had while driving the combine or tractor, but it is slightly to small, and the 16 quart is to big, and bulky in the cab. PLEASE make one in the middle of the same style !

Top button is junk

Girlfriend received this 7qt Pal cooler and after using twice latch doesn't hold. Took apart but would only latch once then not hold shut again. I still own mine from 1979 button on side, works great, own 5 other Igloo coolers. New top push buttons are junk. Will no longer recommend this product design to others.

Family Tradition! Classic design, easy

Family Tradition! Classic design, easy to open with one hand, perfect for holding the fishing rod with the other. I’m excited to gift this to my youngest brother as the third generation to have a red or blue Playmate to take to every family gathering. I’m going to put a black Magic Marker in it so he can write his name across it as is custom. Perfect size for a day’s drinks and snacks. Not too bulky to carry with an armload of tackle, presents, casserole, or toddler.

I've had three Platmate Pals

I've had three Platmate Pals - 1. An approximate 30-year old Playmate Pal with the button on the side. Button finally wore out. 2. Playmate Pal with the button on the top lasted less than 1-year, top button broke internally. 3. Playmate Pal with the button on the top replaced #2, hoping for the best. Playmate products are great.

My husband has always had

My husband has always had an Igloo Playmate cooler since I've known him (35+ years). The size is perfect for his lunch, the cooler holds its cooling capabilites and is very durable as he works in the concrete industry. Whenever an old one needs to be replaced we go right back to Igloo. Thanks for making a great product!
