Things have changed!!
After my daughter using the lunch bag one day it is ripped. Fast forward to the fourth day of school and the handle has completely come off. Seems like the product is made cheaper. Last years bag we still have and didn’t have this issue. I will be returning this

Lower Quality This Season
The quality of the lunch box this season is really disappointing. We have purchased the matching sets the past two years and everything held up very well. We are a week into school and the lunch box strap is already ripping. In previous versions the strap was centered on the top on the lunch box. It definitely looks like they took a short-cut by putting it in the existing seam.

Worse Than Last Year
My daughter used the strawberry backpack/lunchbox/water bottle/ice pack set last year for kinder. Great quality, great price. It’s still in great shape this year. For first grade, she picked the leopard print set. The quality decline in 1 year should be studied. The material of the backpack and lunch bag feels cheap. The lunch bag doesn’t come with a solid inner box anymore that you can remove and clean. And the handle of the lunch bag broke ON THE WAY TO LUNCH ON DAY 1. She only used it to carry to the cafeteria because I packed it in the backpack. She only held it from the classroom to the cafeteria and it snapped on the way. Literally didn’t last 5 minutes. Now I get to tear the insulated seam out of the bag to try to Frankenstein this handle back on because they don’t sell these anymore. I bought it in July and now in August I can’t ever replace it. Great start to 1st Grade.
