Coffee might be good but I'll never know because the beans I received are 4 months expired. I wouldn't recommend getting beans shipped from target- consistently expired or incorrect item descriptions aren't worth the hassle of trying to get customer service to cooperate... ☹️

Mind blowing flavor!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me awhile to review these because I had to buy a coffee bean grinder, but let me be the first to say it was worth it! This coffee was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and the nuttiness of the hazelnut was perfection. I typically buy my coffee pre ground, but this coffee changes that! I also love the mission of this brand of coffee, working for sustainability in their harvesting efforts. I need more of their coffee!!

Great quality cafe coffee

Our favorite has been in Jamaica. We tried this and it was great! Made our whole house smell like a cafe. It was fresh, taste was great, and we this may be one of our new favorite brands to make at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved Intelligentsia Black Cat Sublunar coffee. It’s a lovely dark roast with notes of hazelnut. It smelled amazing while brewing. It tastes dark, semi sweet and bitter. I added creamer to mine like I normally do. The kids loved grinding up the beans and seeing the entire brewing process. I loved that they are sustainable and collaborate with farmers. Will purchase.

But since it's an espresso roast, I wanted to try it made in my espresso machine. It brewed a deliciously rich coffee with a warm nuttiness and no bitterness. Though not actually espresso, it still made a delicious latte. Pictured here I used 2 shots of this Intelligentsia Black Cat Sublunar Espresso Dark Roast Coffee, steamed soy milk, and 1.5 oz Torani hazelnut syrup. 😋☕ I would highly recommend for any dark roast coffee lover. I generally drink coffee black, and this was very delicious when I drank black.

Weak
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aroma of the coffee is so strong but unfortunately the flavor does not match the aroma. The coffee was too weak for me, I tried adding more and less water but still couldn’t get the strength that I would have enjoyed more.

I love the texture of the coffee, and think that it’s flavorful and vibrant both before and after brewing. It gives me a little extra energy which is always a great thing, and I love the way it’s packaged. This is a brand I already bought and consumed before getting to test it, and it’s well worth the money!

Not your average or traditionally dark roast blend, it comes with the added benefits of being espresso dark roasted whole bean coffee! It comes in an easy to open/close bag packed from top to bottom with actual whole bean coffee that you will have to use a grinder at home to ground the coffee yourself before you’ll be able to use it!

Amazing espresso shots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These beans have a strong, pleasing aroma. When you ground the beans it gets even more intense. The flavor is great — I used it to make a latte, and the flavor was on par with other name brand espressos. It yielded a well-pulled shot with plenty of crema. I definitely recommend this bean.
