Zipper gets stuck on flap. Repeatedly.
I’ve purchased this JanSport backpack twice, and both times the zipper got stuck on the flap, making the bag completely unusable. Once the zipper jams, the only way to open the backpack is to either force the zipper until it breaks loose or cut the flap - neither of which is acceptable for a brand that’s supposed to be reliable. This isn’t a one-time defect, it’s a repeated design or quality issue. For the price and reputation, I expected far better durability. Very disappointed.

Not worth the price tag
These backpacks used to be made of a soft, sturdy woven canvas material and a true suede leather bottom that lasted years. Not anymore. Today's versions are a cheap, plastic-y fake polyester with a playdoh leather bottom that rip, tear and wear through within months, yet the cost has not reflected the diminished quality. So disappointed.
