I recently picked up the JAPONESQUE Eyelash Curler, and I have to say, it's been a game changer for my almond-shaped eyes! I've always struggled to find a curler that works well for my straight, downturned lashes, but this one did the trick beautifully. First off, it’s super easy to use. I love the comfort grip—makes it feel really secure in my hand. And the best part? It didn't pinch my skin at all, which is something I've dealt with before in other curlers. The curl it gives is just right, making my lashes look naturally lifted without that crimped look some curlers give. Honestly, if you have almond-shaped eyes like I do, I highly recommend giving this a try. It’s made a huge difference in my makeup routine!

Mine broke on the second use

I didn’t have it very long before it broke while I was using it. I clamped down on my lashes and it felt like I got punched in my eye as it completely snapped off. I had used it about three times prior to that and it did curl my lashes nicely. It’s just not worth almost getting blinded over.

First of all: this is the largest lash curler I’ve ever encountered, it’s truly meant for those with long fingers, but not for my short fingers. Due to the size, it’s not comfortable for me to w and there really is deep fear that I’ll rip my lashes out, so I had to return.

Very useful and value for money

This item cut my lashes and barely curled them. Now I have short lashes, I am warning everyone to stay away from this eyelash curler

I had this curler for four months and it broke today. I’ve had cheaper ones last longer, super disappointed.

Bought this eyelash curler for the first time about a year ago, worked okay but not great after about a month it broke and ripper out a chunk of them. I started using it again not to long ago but the rubber piece went over the metal and it cut off a big chunk of my eyelashes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Doesn’t hold a curl at alllll and it literally broke while I was using it. I was so lucky it didn’t damage my eye.

The mechanics on this are flimsy. It snapped and ripped all of my lashes out on the first use. Do not buy this.

Really does curl my lashes. Would like it better if it also had cushion for top.

I have super straight lashes that only curl for about 2 mins. I thought this would work because of reviews but it did not. Still on the search for a good curler

i’m gonna start this review off my saying my eyelashes never stay curled!!! i have had trouble with other eyelash curlers because they don’t grab onto the lashes on my outer corners but this one was able to so i was already impressed by that. i use waterproof mascara so that might be why they stayed curled for so long, but i think it’s a great eyelash curler anyway. it didn’t rip out any of my lashes but that’s never happened to me so i’ll keep using and see if that happens. i attached a photo of my lashes so you can see i have pretty long lashes to begin with but gave them a really nice lift 🤗 only issue is i hate that it’s so wide and it’s a little pricey but i’m kind of cheap…

I used this maybe 5 times then it bole mid curl. When it broke it pulled out 1/4 of my lashes. It’s cheaply made. DO NOT BUY unless you want your lashes ripped out.
