[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent of a 6-year-old with autism, finding sensory-friendly products is a constant challenge. Headphones have been a particularly frustrating area. We've tried countless pairs, all promising comfort and durability, but none have delivered. My son would complain of pressure, discomfort, or simply refuse to wear them after a few minutes. That is, until we found the JBL Jr320 headphones. These headphones have been a game-changer for our family. For the first time, my son happily wears headphones for extended periods. The cushioned ear cups and lightweight design are clearly superior to anything we've tried before. He hasn't complained about discomfort once, which is a massive win in our book! It's clear that JBL has put thought into designing these for smaller heads. Another huge plus is the tangle-free fabric cord. Anyone with a young child knows the frustration of constantly untangling headphone wires. This cord is incredibly durable and resists tangling, making it easy for my son to manage them independently. Beyond the comfort and practicality, the sound quality is excellent for a child's headphone. The volume is limited to a safe level, which is crucial for protecting young ears. My son enjoys listening to his favorite audiobooks and music without any distortion or issues. For parents of children with sensory sensitivities, especially those with autism, finding products that work can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. The JBL Jr320 headphones have truly exceeded our expectations. They're comfortable, durable, and provide great sound quality. If you're looking for a reliable and comfortable pair of headphones for your child, I highly recommend giving the JBL Jr320s a try. They've made a world of difference for us, and I'm confident they can do the same for you. As a parent of a 6-year-old with autism, finding sensory-friendly products is a constant challenge. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking for a non-Bluetooth headphones for our 6 year son. These fit the bill perfectly. My son uses these while on his tablet and is also able to plug it into his xbox controller. My favorite feature is that the volume is limited and can only go up to 85 dB which is safe for his hearing. They are able to fold up nicely for easy travel. They also come equipped with a microphone which I have used personally while video conferencing. Would highly recommend and they and also come in purple/pink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Junior 320 headphones are on ear, plug-in only headphones designed for kids 3+. I would say max age is probalby 10, as my daughter is a tiny 10 year old, and these just fit at the largest setting. They are wired only, with a built in microphone and a dual input/output 3.5mm plug. The microphone is built into the little start/stop single button control. They feature a max volume limiter to prevent any hearing damage. Sound: 7 of 10 Now I realize most kids aren't audiophiles (yet!), but they do appreciate better sound. A listener of any age can appreciate clarity and a full range. My daughter said they sounded "really good". When I listened.. well they sounded muffled to me. My daughter gave them 9 out of 10, I give them 5, so we'll meet at 7. Asthetics: 9 of 10 Right out of the box, my daughter noted the style: "oh they look nice". The blue on blue and pink on pink color ways work, though I wish they had other options. Free stickers to customize them never hurts! They feel well-built, although I would maybe want thicker materials for kids durability on kids headphones. The flat cord and the little button control are simple and clean. Durability: 5 of 10 I'm making a prediction, as I haven't had these nearly long enough for any real-world durability results. On the bright side, the ear cushion and cover slipped off, which at first I thought ruined the headphones, but I quickly realized could be re-installed (takes patience and a few minutes but is easy enough once you do it once). This is great as you could wash the "adventure" (read: kid grime) off of them as needed. Overall though, the materials just feel... breakable. So much so, that I really shied away from flexing or testing them. The aforementioned cushion cover feels like thin and tear-able, and the cord, while nice and flexible and non-kinking, also is very thin. In fact, with so many devices using bluetooth now (sometimes ONLY), having NO cable to break, seems like the way to go for kid headphones. I'll update this review if possible, or post a new one, once we've used these for a while to really test their longevity. Comfort: 5 of 10 The earcups are comfortable enough at first, but after a while, they began to hurt. Maybe this wouldn't be an issue with a smaller child, or after some break-in of the headphones. The cushion at the top is a nice touch, but the overall comfort has to be rated, and that could be improved. Controls/Software: 10 of 10 These headphones are beautiful in their simplicity. Old school, headphone/mic plug, one control: start/stop. No software. The only other thing to mention is the built in 85 decibel limiter. Easy for kids to use, and no chance of them lowering or raising the volume accidentally. And IF they do so on the device, the limiter keeps their ears safe. Overall: 6.5 of 10 If you like on-ear style headphones, and you want/need them to plug in, you may want to try these for your little one. I am unsure about the durability, and for an older (read: bigger) child, after a long while they do get uncomfortable. They are nice looking, ultra simple to use, with decent sound. I would recommend you have the kiddo try them on first though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect set of headphones for a young child! The foam ear cushions make them very comfortable for my young child, and adjustable headset allows to adjust for the perfect fit. My youngster enjoyed the comfort of them. I enjoyed the safe level of sound on these. I was not worried my little one would have their music or show too loud, hurting their ears. The built in Mic was a plus, with a long wire for flexibility. My little guy enjoyed the fact that he could add stickers to make them personally their own. My only draw back was that there was not a Bluetooth option. Not a huge deal, however, there are a few items we have that do not have an aux audio output, so we had to use an adapter. Again, not a huge issue considering the great product features, but for sure keep note if traveling to make sure that your tablet has an aux output.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the prpduct because sound quality is great. The ear pieces are just big enough to not cause any discomfort while wearing. I like the mute button on the cord as well. I wish there was some way to control the volume. I also would like to see some adapters for Android and Apple devices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice and simple headphones. Headphone jack and a one button microphone. Clean and crisp sound. I tried them out and they sounded good. Nice cushion. Expandable for maby different sizes. My child was at the higher end of the recommended age and has enjoyed them. Although they barely fit. I would suggest them for a younger child. Worked well for music and gaming. These are perfect headphones for a tablet during a car ride.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are a fantastic option for kids. My little one has had a blast listening to her favorite tunes and calling her friends and cousins on video calls. The volume limit feature is works perfectly and helps me to feel safe letting my little one use the headphones without fear of hearing damage. She loves the fact that they are wired and she does not need to worry about keeping a battery charged to use the headphones. The stickers that they come with are also lots of fun to apply! These are a great headphone option for kids, for school and entertainment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loves the headphones. She's worn them for 6-7 hour car rides we've recently had and we didn't hear a single complaint. She said she could hear her music and games perfectly and even blocked out the few times we tried to talk with her. Great color and the cord is plenty long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality is top-notch, as expected from JBL – they’ve set the new standard for audio. These headphones are lightweight and fit perfectly on my 3-year-old. He absolutely loved the sound and had a great time listening to his favorite rhymes. While the headphone jack isn’t compatible with iPads or iPhones, it works flawlessly with Samsung phones and tablets. I do think it would be great if there were an option to switch the headphone jack for better compatibility. Overall, the quality is excellent, and the kids really loved them!

I purchased the JBL Junior 320 On-Ear Headphones for my 9-year-old nephew. In general, they are good headphones for small children. But they didn't meet our personal expectations in a few areas which is not a problem of the product itsself but rather a question of what kind of headphones you need. Fit & Comfort For my 9 year old nephew the headphones are too small. These headphones seem more suitable for younger kids, likely in the 3-7 age range. The ear cups are quite small which made them uncomfortable for my nephew after a short time. If you're considering these for older children, I'd suggest looking for a different model with larger ear cups. Sound Quality The sound quality is good for a kids' product. It has clear audio and a volume cap to protect the ears of the child. But the music isn't too quiet. If you fully turn up the volume, then another person in the room can hear what is being played. For older children or children that are very musical the sound might lack the depth or bass. For its intended audience which is younger kids or for listening to audio books, the audio performance is appropriate. Design The design is colorful and appealing for children. I personally quite like the design as well. It's one of the reasons I chose these headphones. The product is lightweight and seems durable, except for the earcups. I'm a bit worried how long they will be ok. (We've only used it for a short time so far.) Connectivity One major downside is that the headphones are only usable with a cable. They don’t support Bluetooth. I overlooked this detail during the purchase, assuming all headphones these days would have wireless connectivity. This limits the usability, especially since many devices today are shifting away from headphone jacks. Summary: 4/5 stars Good for the right age group but limited in functionality and fit. If you’re looking for headphones for younger children and are okay with the wired-only option, these are a good choice. They are durable, safe for kids’ hearing and look nice. However, for older kids or those who prefer wireless functionality, I’d recommend exploring other JBL models or alternatives.

I recently purchased the **JBL Junior 320** headphones for my 7-year-old niece, and I can confidently say they were a perfect gift! From the very first use, she absolutely loved them and now uses them daily to listen to music, watch her favorite cartoons, and follow some online activities. Comfort is one of the most impressive features: the ear cushions are incredibly soft and perfectly sized for a child’s head. Even after hours of use, she never complains about discomfort or pressure. The adjustable design ensures they fit as she grows, making them a long-lasting choice. When it comes to audio quality, JBL delivers as always. The sound is clear, with a volume limit of 85 dB to protect children’s sensitive ears, without compromising on clarity or depth of sound. Lastly, the build quality is excellent. The headphones are sturdy yet lightweight, ideal for withstanding the daily use of an energetic child like my niece. The colorful and cheerful design is a bonus that she instantly fell in love with. I highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and high-quality product for their little ones!

We have been testing the JBL Junior 320 headphone for a couple of weeks for our 4,5 year old boy. It is an easy to use, comfortable and well fitting device and it doesn hurt his ears after using it for some time (he frequently listens to longer stories). I´m very pleased with the sound and the decible limitation. We haven´t used the built-in mic. Overall we are very happy with the headphone and we do recommend it to other parents with young kids.

The sound quality is clear and balanced, while the built-in volume limiter ensures the audio stays safe for young ears, never exceeding 85 dB. Comfort is another highlight—soft ear cushions and a lightweight design make them easy to wear for hours. The adjustable headband ensures a great fit as kids grow. The headphones are also durable, with a tangle-free cable that’s perfect for active use. Finally, the fun, colorful design is a big hit with children, making these headphones both practical and stylish. Overall, they’re a great combination of safety, quality, and kid-friendly appeal. Highly recommended!

We have been testing JBL Junior 320 for a few weeks now. It is a very nice headphone for the children. We have 2 boys aged 4 and 7 and both fit the headphone very well. This is because it is easy to adjust and has a good fit for their ears. They mainly use the headphone for the tablet and for the electric piano. Very easy plug and play. The sound is, as you would expect from JBL, very good. There is also a microphone incorporated and the sound is not loud. In order to protect the children's ears. Very happy with this product.
