No Longer The Same Product
I've purchased this ranch dip for years because it complemented vegetables really well, especially for children. The combination of mayo, sour cream, and salad dressing made a really rich dip that was great on so many different vegetables. At some point in the last several months, Jimmy's has completely reformulated this dip into an entirely different product. I'm honestly shocked that Jimmy's is able to sell an entirely different product under the same UPC. The ingredients are so drastically different, I'm not sure how it qualifies to be labeled the same. Instead of labeling the product as a new recipe or new taste, all they put on it is "new look." How is that not deceptive, especially when the ingredients have been completely altered? Not only does the new version taste disgusting, it's ridiculously overpriced for what it is now. They've completely eliminated the mayonnaise and salad dressing, replacing them with soy bean oil and sour cream. If I wanted an oily sour cream ranch dip made with a generic or off brand powdered ranch mix, I would make my own for a fraction of the price.
