Really wanted to like this shoe - fit was good, loved the style, however did not find the shoe comfortable. It was stiff, and was concerned whether it would break in. Returned it.

The Holden shoes are the most comfortable shoes I own. Light weight, flexible sole and the insole is very forgiving.

I have worn Johnston & Murphy for years. I ordered my normal size. As others have commented, they were really stiff and irritated my ankle and gave me blisters on the toes. I figured they would loosen up a bit, but after 6 or so wears, that hasn’t happened. It’s a shame because I really wanted to love these shoes.
