Kasia Nowowiejska studied painting at Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland, where she still lives, and has worked on a diverse array of projects, from picture books and backgrounds for animated short films to iPad apps and commercials. My thirteen-month-old LOVES this book! We leave it on a side table in the living room and he grabs it and brings it to us to read at least twice a day. Other times, he just wants to play with shaking the book to make the leaves pop out. The story is very short and sweet, and the sounds included in each scene are so fun! We are super dramatic reading those and our son laughs! Such a great book for a kiddo in the fall! I can't wait for him to read it again once he knows his colors and can play along with the book's guidance to find certain colors on each page. We only wish it was longer! :)
