Safety warningsif you have ever experienced any allergic reaction following the use of a hair color product, do not use this or any other hair coloring product. hair colorants can cause severe allergic reactions. read and follow instructions. this product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. temporary "black henna" tattoos may increase your risk of allergy. before using this product, you must perform a preliminary 48-hour skin allergy test according to the enclosed leaflet. do not color your hair if: - you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp. - you have ever experienced a reaction after coloring your hair. - you have experienced a reaction to a temporary "black henna" tattoo in the past. avoid contact with eyes. rinse immediately if product comes into contact with eyes. do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. wear gloves provided. read and follow instructions on enclosed leaflet. contains hydrogen peroxide, resorcinol and phenylenediamines. in rare cases, use of hair color has been associated with skin depigmentation (white patches, loss of skin color or a condition called vitiligo), which may be temporary or permanent. if you notice any skin depigmentation, discontinue use immediately. do not use hair color products at all if you have skin depigmentation problems or if you have a family history of skin depigmentation problems. remember to perform the skin allergy test 48 hours before each use, even if you have previously used this or other hair coloring products. for this reason buy this product two days before you intend to use it. caution: this product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and a preliminary 48-hour skin allergy test according to enclosed leaflet should be done first. this product must not be used for dyeing the eyelashes or eyebrows - to do so may cause blindness. keep out of reach of children.

Q: What if I have no grey, will it lighten my beard?

  • A: If your beard is dark, using a light shade of this product will not make it lighter. You need a bleach of some type to "lift" the dark color out before toning it. If it is very dark, bleaching may make it orangish - not attractive.

Q: Accidental dabs of the brush happen with the dye. Like hairline, ear, hands. If you see it, water and a wash cloth can remove the dye. But if not seen until later on, what remover product can be used successfully?

    Works Great for Brow Tint!

    Used it as a brow tint and it worked really well! Use as directed, it works fast so be careful. I would start on tail of brows and work your way in, leaving tint on inner brow the least amount of time. Also make sure your face isn’t oily when you apply, if your goal is to also tint skin (which it will do!) seems to grab best on very dry surface. Love it for brows, doesn’t stay super long maybe 2ish to 3 days but for the amount of product it will last you multiple uses!

    CRAP PACKING

    Happy with the item, but Traget's packaging was atrocious. Ordered two boxes and both arrived in a flimsy paper mailer and the bozes inside were all but totally destroyed. Need the item or I would be sending it back. Do these people THINK when when pack stuff. Looks like the driver SAT ON THE PACKAGE. So this review is about the shipping, NOT the product, but Target has nowhere to complain without shipping them back or getting replacements.

    Changed formula

    I have been using the blonde dye for about two years on my blonde brows. This last box purchased December 2025 is DRAMATICALLY different. Texture and color are both different. Way way way lighter. Almost as if it doesn’t work at all. After two applications it’s barely noticeable. It probably is more accurately blonde (so maybe that is why there is a change?) but it no longer makes any sort of difference. I hope to try a darker color. Very bummed!! This was my beauty holy grail.
