A: Hi SM, our Kendakids are made from a combination of materials and is made up of approximately 70% paperboard, 25% plastic (Polyethylene) and 5% aluminium. While not all recycling facilities can process cartons, many can, and they're a better choice than HDPE bottles, which are made from petroleum and can end up in landfills. Additionally, the outer cluster pack our cartons come in is made from entirely recyclable cardboard. It's a much better alternative to plastic "six pack rings" that can harm wildlife. We're proud to partner with Tetra who are continuously working to improve their processes and materials and make their cartons even more sustainable. This includes increasing the use of plant-based plastics and developing new ways to recycle and recover materials. Hope this helps!

KendaKids shakes are ready-to-drink and are intended to be shaken well and served chilled for best taste. If your little one doesn’t like them cold, the best option is to take the chill off by leaving the unopened bottle at room temperature for a short time before serving. We wouldn’t advise warming/microwaving, as heating can affect the taste/texture and we can’t guarantee the product quality once it’s been heated.
