This new version works sooo much better than the last one (the taller one that had you remove parts of the keurig to use). I can consistently make a good cup of coffee that isn’t ever watery or contain grounds.

Super fine mesh lining
I like how this design uses a super fine mesh so you can ground those beans to power. Buyer be ware just like all Reduce Reuse products there is some cleaning involve, I use left over beans to feed my plants. This is made for both single piercer or the 5 coffee machines. Please be careful with the lock is simple but effective. I used it daily making super strong coffee. Not going back to single use plastic Keurig design cups .

Yuck Factor of New Design
This new design of this product is pretty terrible to use. You are forced to stick your finger into used coffee grounds now. Also, there are more steps to sealing the container, more lining up necessary as the internal cup now has a key lock seat requirement. The only good thing about it is that you don’t have to remove the standard k-cup insert to use it. I have to assume that maybe in theory, it is brewing a better cup of coffee because it is more sealed with the forced injector like the disposable k-cups. But now, there is a thinner layer of plastic between your coffee and boiling water. This makes me feel a bit nervous about it being a possible source of leaching of plastic into the human body. I love my Keurig, love the coffee it brews, but I am also a bit environmental and health cautious since reading about how most people are walking around with a ton of microplastics in their bodies and am always looking for ways to reduce possible consumption and used the reusable k-cups due to better environmental stewardship and thicker plastic and metal mesh filters, but also because I like a coffee that is only sold whole bean from small roaster. Because these new cups are designed to fit into the reusable insert, they are forced into a thinner plastic shell design. I guess I’m looking for a good balance between good coffee, ease of use, and confidence in safety. This definitely fails the ease of use part of the equation and pings the concern vibe in my brain about plastic consumption exposure more.

Budget friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I have a Keurig K-cup pod from a while back that I was never fond of using that much when I did want to use my coffee grounds. I was never a fan of the design and installation, it was a bit of a hassle, and it kept me from buying coffee grounds as opposed to just using K-cups or something else. I’m so glad Keurig decided on a redesign because this new K-cup reusable coffee pod is so much better! It’s the same shape as if you’re using an actual K-cup (the other one I had was bigger and looked like a rocket? Idk) and easier to use overall. You just open it up and put your coffee grounds in the little filter basket, put it in your Keurig like you would your usual K-cup, close the lid, and brew, it’s that simple. No removal of any parts or switching of anything, which is what I had to do with the old version and so I ultimately did not use it very much because I found it to be a pain. So much happier with this!

This was the perfect product for me to try out especially since I have left over ground coffee from my old coffee maker, so this came in handy. My K-Cup reusable coffee filter worked perfectly, and was so easy to use, the instructions are very simple. My coffee came out great, same as if I used a disposable K-Cup. I had no problem and it was easy to clean. I love this so much I definitely recommend and now I’m able to use the ground coffee whenever my K-Cup isn’t available.

Less waste
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this reusable cup has a detachable inside cup, this makes for easy cleaning of the cup, easy to use, just fill the cup up and close the lid, you have less waste using this cup daily, fits in my keurig perfectly, and brews a great cup of coffee, you could even put loose leaf tea in it if you want.
