Q: Is there another method of cleaning the machine besides using this descaling product? I’m leary now about getting this stuff because I have read the numerous reviews that the machine broke after using the descaling product.

Regularly descaling your brewer every 3-6 months helps maintain the heating element, and other internal parts that come in contact with water. Calcium deposits may build up faster, making it necessary to descale more often.

Easy to use. Instructions are a little sparse. Number of clear rinses were not clear and I used instructions for the liquid form of descale fir number of rinses. I used this on an older model which did not have a screen to see descale instructions.

Bought this because it's a scaling light came on my husband followed the directions our coffee pot doesn't work anymore after using I'm seeing a lot of other reviews saying the same thing I wouldn't buy it don't waste your money now I'm out $150 coffee pot

The product worked well, and I was well pleased with it. However the instructions that come with the kit are not complete and I had to go to the website to get better instructions on what to do. The instructions in the kit do not completely explain how the procedure is done.
