Q: Don’t like this all. Very weird taste and texture . Not flavorful . Gross. So disappointed.

submitted by Nora G - 9 months ago

  • A: Agree 💯 tried it today. I. Grossed out. Not wgat I expected.

submitted byDV - 8 months ago

  • A: Agreed! Threw it out. Such a weird flavor and I love popcorn!

submitted byMom of three - 4 months ago

  • A: Agree. Very powdery and bland too.

submitted byS - 2 months ago

  • A: I disagree. This popcorn is very good. Btw this forum is for questions not reviews.

Q: The nutrition label doesn’t add up. The package is 4 oz. There are 4 servings. A serving size is 2.5 cups? The package is only 4 oz. You’re saying you get 10 cups of popcorn out of a 4 oz package?

submitted by Drmichone - 1 year ago

  • A: Yes- the Nutritional Label on the Sea Salt and the White Cheddar flavors DO state exactly what the OP is questioning, which doesn’t make sense. However, the nutritional label on the Kettle Corn flavor states Serving Size: 1 cup & approx. 5 servings in bag. Caloric value per serving is the same on all bags (which doesn’t make sense for all three either obviously). First person to reply to OP’s query didn’t bother to view or compare all three nutritional labels before responding.

submitted byChouchou - 1 year ago

  • A: I don't what your looking at but none of what you said is what the nutrition label on the bag says.

submitted byJae - 1 year ago

  • A: Popcorn can be measured by weight or volume and as kernels or popped. Sounds like it was kernels in cups and popped in ounces.

Q: Who owns this company?

submitted by Girliegurl - 9 months ago

  • A: Khloé Kardashian is the founder and owner of Khloud Protein Popcorn

submitted bySewalker - 9 months ago

Q: Does this popcorn have hulls?

submitted by Steph47 - 1 year ago

  • A: Like the little seeds? Mostly no, I eat a whole package in one sitting and maybe get a displeasing hard thing like once or twice.

submitted bySiv - 1 year ago

Q: The nutrition label doesn’t add up. The package is 4 oz. There are 4 servings. A serving size is 2.5 cups? The package is only 4 oz. What is the truth? How do you make such a large mistake on your label/packaging?

submitted by Drmichone - 1 year ago

  • A: Thanks for the question, popcorn labels can definitely look confusing! The bag is 4 oz by weight, but popcorn is super light and airy, so a small weight fills a huge amount of volume. That’s why each serving is listed as 2.5 cups - the FDA requires popcorn serving sizes to be measured by cups (volume) instead of ounces. So even though the bag only weighs 4 oz, it still adds up to about 10 cups of popcorn, which is completely normal for this category. Nothing was mislabeled, it’s just a funny quirk of how popcorn works!

Q: Nutritional labeling is very confusing/misleading between flavors. Sweet and Salty serving size is is 1 cup, the other flavors are 2.5 and 3 cups. What's going on here?

submitted by CoffeeCrazy - 1 year ago

  • A: The serving size is based on weight (grams). The cheddar and kettle weigh more per kernel since they have more flavoring added.

submitted bySophie - 1 year ago

Q: Is the popcorn gluten free?

submitted by Daughter1 - 1 year ago

  • A: Yes the bag states it is gluten free.

Run past the display: it is terrible!

We opened the bag an hour after buying it. It was stale (no crunch at all) & left a sticky yucky residue in our mouths & on our fingers. Save your money & buy something else.

    Yummy flavor but weird texture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the sweet & salty kettle corn flavor. I thought the taste was pretty good and not too sweet compared to regular kettle corn. However, there was a large residue left on my hands from the protein powder. The protein powder made the popcorn taste a little grainy.

    Tastes Fine, but mouth texture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kettle corn flavor was better than the white cheddar, it tasted like kettle corn but it still had the overwhelming powder on it that turned to paste in your mouth.

Tried the white cheddar - it was really powdery and the protein texture almost leaves a cakey-ness in your mouth. Not very flavorful. It's not horrible, but not great either. Overall wouldn't recommend.

    Not very good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They had a strange taste to them. I don’t think I would be willing to try these again for various reasons. But at least they had protein but not enough

    Very disappointed!

I never write negative reviews but I bought the kettle corn version and it is probably the worst popcorn that I have ever had. It had a powdery taste and was not anything like kettle corn. More money wasted on a awful product. Just my opinion.

    Powdery popcorn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sweet and salty kettle corn flavor but the popcorn was covered in a dusty powder which made it have a weird mouthfeel. I was not a big fan and would probably not purchase again.

    Okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying this popcorn, I think it’s okay. The taste is a bit off putting for me and has an odd texture. It does have a nice sweetness to it that isn’t overly sweet. The coating is a bit sticky but wipes off easily. Overall I think this popcorn is okay.

Powder covered gritty popcorn. How is this a top seller? 3 of us spit it out. I felt like popcorn was tossed in a jar of protein powder. Yuk.

    Delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea that protein popcorn could be this delicious! The sweet and salty kettle corn is my favorite. The kernels are beaurifully popped and completely coated with this delicious flavoring. You'd never know it had the added benefit of protein. The coating is almost velvety in texture when you bite in. An amazing healthy snack that helps you meet your protein goals.
