  • A: Yes- the Nutritional Label on the Sea Salt and the White Cheddar flavors DO state exactly what the OP is questioning, which doesn’t make sense. However, the nutritional label on the Kettle Corn flavor states Serving Size: 1 cup & approx. 5 servings in bag. Caloric value per serving is the same on all bags (which doesn’t make sense for all three either obviously). First person to reply to OP’s query didn’t bother to view or compare all three nutritional labels before responding.

  • A: Thanks for the question, popcorn labels can definitely look confusing! The bag is 4 oz by weight, but popcorn is super light and airy, so a small weight fills a huge amount of volume. That’s why each serving is listed as 2.5 cups - the FDA requires popcorn serving sizes to be measured by cups (volume) instead of ounces. So even though the bag only weighs 4 oz, it still adds up to about 10 cups of popcorn, which is completely normal for this category. Nothing was mislabeled, it’s just a funny quirk of how popcorn works!

    Maybe if you're desperate for added protein

    The powder on the popcorn tastes like chalk. If you’re desperate for more protein in your diet…then maybe. Otherwise this is a definite pass for me.

    The kettle corn flavor has this thick almost unflavored powder coating, I do like healthy things and can usually power through, this popcorn however immediately went in the trash. Simply unflavored popcorn would have been better. It was this thick powder that ruined it, I don’t know if it’s protein powder or what, but it was quite awful.

    Unique idea for popcorn

I did like the cheese flavor but some family members found it a bit chalky, the bag was finished quickly though so still recommend to try each flavor to see if you like.

    disgusting

    I finally caved and bought this and it's absolutely terrible. There's really no flavor, just a ton of gross powdery texture. I feel like I'm going to get sick eating it, it doesn't even taste like it should be eaten.
