Each machine has an improved 15:1 gear ratio that gives precise tuning control. Just a slight turn of the button will get strings locked in and holding their pitch. String slippage can lead to tuning problems and string breakage over time. The Kluson SafeTi string posts on the Deluxe Series tuning machines prevent this issue. The string slots have a unique shape that keeps strings locked in place as tune and play. 'll have fewer problems with strings unwinding at the post.
