Kodiak Banana Muffin & Quick Bread Mix - 14oz: High Protein, Whole Grain

No blueberries?! Returning.

I have not used this to make blueberry muffins, I have used it to make blueberry scones. To make the scones I use organic butter and high protein milk(Fair life). I wasn't a fan of the icing so I skip the sugar heavy icing. I also add a splash of real Vanilla. I like I can adapt the mix to be muffins, scones or cookies.

I love the Kodiak mixes, very tasty and easy to make. Great for a quick breakfast or snack before a run.

Very easy to make. Slightly more batter than comfortably fits in a 12 muffin tin. They are not super sweet which is a good thing. The family thought they could use some more chocolate chips (which would obviously change the macros) and I would probably add those next time

its very yummy if you add dark chocolate chips to it. you can't tell you're eating something healthy!

My 2 year old and 5 year old both loved these. Love they are protein packed and great taste.

We love these blueberry muffins! These are my 3 yr olds favorite. She also helped me make them.

There is not enough blueberry flavor or pieces. These have a weird aftertaste that is off-putting. My husband said it almost tastes like vomit. The chocolate ones are SOOOOO much better!

Made them with egg and milk and they taste fantastic. Better than expected. Big fan!

Love this muffin mix - I use it as a short cut to the Espresso Brown Sugar Muffins (which are amazingly yummy!). Just use this mix, add in the espresso and make the yummy topping as instructed in the recipe. Perfect. Also, you can freeze them for quick additions to a lunch box.

Not as good as I expected

I am impressed with the amount of chocolate in them. It is definitely for chocolate lovers. My husband loves double chocolate muffins and I am glad he liked these so I know he can have a healthier version with protein. I added some extra chips because I didn't realize there were teeny tiny chips in there already. It was good with and without my extra semi-sweet chips. You have to eat them quickly, though. They are very moist so you have 3-5 days.

Only 10 grams of protein, yet 20g of added sugar per serving? Meh, not worth the price tag in my opinion. It’s be easier to find other substitutions. I was looking for a healthy snack for my toddler, but way too much sugar for me personally.

Opening a box of Kodiak “blueberry” muffin mix, well, where were the blueberries?? When mixing the contents of the box, the smell of goodness was totally absent. Then I saw some tiny particles of chopped up blueberries which were either dehydrated or freeze-dried. The smell was still absent of anything good. Then, after the batter was spooned into the muffin cups I added some homegrown organic blueberries to each muffin, pocking them down with a toothpick. As the muffins were baking, the smell of freshly made baked blueberry muffins was not present in my kitchen. After cooking them, I put the muffins on the table for breakfast, and my husband, my son, granddaughter each took one and there was silence. My granddaughters after her first taste, asked if there was anything else for breakfast because it was “yucky”! We all agreed with her statement. We ate the one we started with and the remaining muffins were untouched. When I bake, I use fresh ingredients and milled flours, local honey and fresh eggs. The things I bake at home have flavor and an aroma that draws the whole family in, that is what I (we) were expecting from a box of expensive food from Kodiak. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE, YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Does not taste good at all. Honestly they tasted like vomit. I spit out the one bite I took and threw them all away. I prepared them exactly as described on the box, using fresh eggs and milk. Maybe it was just the lemon blueberry flavor that tasted not good

I substitute regular milk for High Protein Vanilla Milk (like Core Power) and add 1 container of high protein yogurt and 1/3 cup of egg whites to increase the protein. Love the Blueberry and the Chocolate muffin mixes by Kodiak as well.

I have been buying this product for many years! My whole family loves it! Especially when I add either coconut or walnuts to the package of blueberry mix! Never been disappointed in this product recommended to anybody if you like blueberry muffins or blueberry scones!

There is a very off putting taste to the mix. I think it could be the cream of tartar and lemon flavor. Definitely too much cream of tartar taste. Giving three stars because of the easy preparation and they were filling. I won’t purchase again, though.

If you like the smell and taste of Playdoh, go for it. My dog wouldn't eat them.

Makes delicious muffins but be aware that they are much more lemon than they are blueberry. Also one whole box makes one dozen muffins which, I did anticipate a bit more product than that.
