    Salty!

While it’s a good value option, this is a very salty alternative to name brands. I couldn’t figure out why everything I cooked was coming out saltier than normal; then I remembered I had purchased the good and gather brand kosher salt.

    Too coarse and large

The grains of this are huge, like pretzel salt. Hard to distribute evenly for cooking without using too much.

    Too coarse and too salty

It's too salty because the crystals are too coarse and doesn't blend well in things like salad dressings. Even baking vegetables it seemed too salty and I don't use a lot of salt when I cook. I will probably just use it to clean my cast iron skillets and stick with Morton brand.

    Too salty

This kosher salt is very salty (more salty than Morton) and the crystals are very big. Too big to put on a meat, they won’t melt

    Just buy Morton's kosher salt

This is the most course salt I’ve ever gotten in my life. Bigger than coarse sea salt, but also the size of the salt is not consistent at all. I never do this, but I will be throwing this away because it’s not even good as a finishing salt. Seriously, pay the extra money for Morton’s kosher salt. It’s WAY too easy to over-salt with this.

    First time use it

Good & Gather Coarse Kosher Salt it’s a coarse-grain, it’s my first time using it for cooking and I really like it! It gives a really good taste with a little amount to my dishes. Very easy to use and store in any cabinet

    Packs a Ounch of Flavor

I typically cook with pink Himalayan salt but gave this a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the result. I appreciate the larger cut and these clear coarse crystals pack a punch of flavor as a result. I also like the bit of texture crystals this size add to the created dish. Overall I’m very pleased and will keep it stocked in my pantry as an additional option.

    Good quality/not expensive

This is what you'd expect from a Good & Gather brand. It is not expensive, it is quality ingredients, the packaging is simple, and the taste/flavor is good. I would personally like the granules to be a bit more coarse, but that is just my preference.

Good & Gather Salt is good

This is a review of the Good & Gather Coarse Kosher Salt 24 Oz canister. This was sent to me in exchange for my honest review. What can I say about salt? Something you don’t normally review or judge. I’d say this Good & Gather brand is just as good as the name brands but at a lower price point. It has a seal to keep out the humidity and moisture. And a handy pouring spout. The only things to note that aren’t necessarily negative are that: this product is not iodized salt so don’t count on it to supply necessary iodine in your diet. Also it was sourced in Spain - again not a bad thing but just noteworthy.

    Kosher Salt

All in good quality kosher salt. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars was because of the packaging. The metal nozzle piece immediately came out when it was opened. It was easy enough to get back into place but I will be transferring the salt to another container.

    Love coarse salt!

Love this coarse kosher salt. It is perfect for my homemade Cheez Itz and dessert I make that calls for coarse salt on top. Honestly, I love it so much we use it in our shaker when cooking or seasoning as well. This is the traditional sized salt, with metal pour spout. Love my salt and very happy with this brand!

    Great big grains of salt

This is perfect course ground kosher salt. Please note it does not contain iodine. The grains of salt are nice and big and crunchy. It has a nice flavor. The container functions just like a normal salt container and has a useful spout.

    Just salt no iodine

I love Corsall because we put it in our grinder and this is perfect. Sometimes it’s hard to find this also doesn’t contain iodine, which is in most of the finer salts and I like that because we don’t need iodine.

    Medium coarseness

Glad for an affordable Kosher salt option. The grain is slightly smaller than the name brand Kosher salt I usually buy but bigger than a typical table salt. I wouldn’t say to is coarse enough to warrant a salt grinder.
