I had the other kind of stand with the long screws that you turn, but it kept on tipping over my true. After reading all the reviews on this , I decided to pull the trigger and get it. I was kinda hesitant because of the price , but I’m so glad I did. Setting up the tree took less than 2 minutes . The only complaint I have is that these are not made in Germany . They are engineered in Germany but made in china.
