It is US coast guards a den Transport Canada approved. Great quality and will last long. Has 4 ways to adjust just right for your kid, make sure he is safe and comfortable. My kids own a couple of vest from this brand already and I was looking forward to try this one on. Unfortunately even though I chose kids/adult size, I actually got the infant size for the kids under 55 lb. So make sure to chose the size correctly! If I would have a kid, who is under 55 lb I know for sure I would trust this vest.

He weighs 40 lbs and was able to move around with ease and looked comfortable. It feels light weight and durable, and the colors are nice. It kept him above water the entire time and gave us a peace of mind. It has a strap that goes between the legs which kept the vest in place. Overall this is a great vest at an affordable price.
