Husband has 5 pairs of these, as all of his shorts needed replacing following weight loss. The fit and fabric are both excellent and, like all of Lands End clothing, they launder extremely well and don't necessarily need ironing - bonus!

The weave is and pattern are what caught my eye in the photos. Seeing what came out of the package did not disappoint. I would have been happier with a heftier weight, both for the drape and the longevity of the pants. I'm happy with the purchase.

Very difficult to secure a tight fit with only bathing suit style drawstrings. Consequence: if you put your phone in a pocket, the shorts tend to ride down to potentially embarrassing depths. Otherwise, a nice Product.

Years ago we bought some cotton volley shorts from Lands End which lasted years and were great - good material and fit and washed well. We thought these deck shorts would be something similar but sadly it is not the case. The material seemed all stiff and we didn't like the different colour cord so sadly we returned these.

The advertised short was not what I received. The shorts were advertised as a cotton khaki short and I received corduroy shorts. I sent them back
