Lands' End Women's Recover High Rise Wide Leg Blue Jeans

Except for a couple of things: 28" inseam for an 8 Petite is really too long. Had to have them hemmed. Be sure to wash them 2-3 times before wearing them. The hem rubbed against my white sneakers, and the color rubbed off. It did wash out of the sneaks, but still....But despite that, they are very comfortable and flattering.

I have old pairs of similar jeans, with the wide leg, and what I always loved about Lands End is that they fit my old lady apple shape waist. These updated the design to be for women with a small waist, making them unwearable for me. It's a bummer, but if you are apple shaped like me, pass on these.

Fits great. Nice and soft. I ordered the 32 and I loved it-the length was perfect. This is the second pair I ordered.

I had these jeans in a lighter rinse and I liked them so much I bought the darker ones. They are a good length and the high waist makes me look taller. The color makes these jeans a much dressier option than lighter jeans. I bought a size 6 and they fit great!

I love the style and fit of these jeans! I ended up needing the petite, so I returned these for the petite and a different wash that I thought was more flattering, but I love this wide-leg style!

I bought these in 6P & they are a perfect fit. The length is perfect which is hard when you’re 5’0” tall. They are extremely comfortable & look great.

The pants fit a little big. I did not like the distressing. I want dark jeans that look new not worn.

I was so happy to be able to order this in a long/tall. It fits great and I love the full bell look. I am also pleased with this shade of blue since I have already begun wearing my spring outfits. I am 5’9” so I’m really enjoying this longer length as opposed to so many pants offered lately at a shorter “ankle” length in other women’s fashion catalogs and stores. The denim is a heavier weight but is perfect for our midwestern temperatures which have been a bit chilly lately. Being able to take advantage of a discount offer as well, made this purchase really perfect.

I love how this style looks on others but it did not work for me. Besides the fact that at 5'5", I am much too short without shortening the pants or wearing a high heel, it was too wide. I also should not have purchased the high rise. Again, not a great fit for my body. A great look for someone with very long and thin legs.

I really like the dark denim jeans they’re made really well. They’re a little on the heavier side Which means that last a heck about a lot longer than those thin ones. I would buy again if fit great!

The pant legs are very wide! It took me a while to get used to them. My usual style for jeans is boot leg. But, this wide leg is the new "style" out there with these pants I'm told. The jeans fit great otherwise. Absolutely, they are comfortable. I decided to keep them and have something more stylish in my wardrobe.

I love these jeans so much the fit is great. I just ordered another pair so I can have 2 Pair.

Finally found a great fit! Being on the short end makes finding jeans hard. These are perfect!

Absolutely thrilled with the jeans. With a 28 in waist and 40 inch hips finding jeans is a chore- especially when I’m looking for a certain cut and color. I ordered the 6 and the 8. Both fit beautifully, the 6 was slightly more snug which is what I was wanting but both had enough flexibility that I am happy with either. THANK YOU LANDS END!!! For reference I am 5’5 150 lbs. Only mild complaint is the stitching had some loose threads.

Second pair and love them both. Nice hand to the fabric and so comfortable. I ordered one size smaller for a trimmer fit.

These jeans are comfortable, they fit as expected, the color retention is great, they wash up well, all the characteristics I've come to expect from Lands' End clothing.

Nice looking jeans but the sizing is way off. I normally wear an 8 or 10. I ordered a 10 and couldn't button the jeans. I'd need to go up 2 sizes for these jeans to fit. And now I have to pay to ship these back.

Lands End told me my perfect size was a 12...they were too big...ordered a 10 fit great...I get so many compliments on these pants and I'm 73...my girlfriend has the same pants.

I ordered these in my normal size 12, the natural color (which I mention because sometimes fit will vary slightly by color) and they were a bit snug. (There is a LOT of stretch so they zip and all that, but I don't want a wide leg jean to be that fitted.) I re-ordered in a size 14. They are still a bit snug (except also a tiny big baggy in the high hip because that's like one part of my body that's narrow), but more comfortable than the size 12 (they are seriously stretchy). I also think they run a tad short for my long legs. (I ordered the 32 inch inseam. But I think because these are a snugger fit than some, and the inseam starts higher in the rise, that is why they appear shorter). They do look pretty good, and I only wear flat shoes these days, so I may keep the size 14 instead of trying for a 16 - still thinking on that. The natural color (kind of a creamy off-white) is versatile, so they should go with a lot of different tops, and probably even to the office since the color doesn't scream jeans at you. The thickness of the fabric is a little lighter than some, so decent for summer, but thick enough that as long as you're not wearing super dark underwear, the color won't show through, although the front pocket lining may be visible due to contrast, just like with any light colored pant. (The divot for the elastic around the leg holes of your underwear may show though, because the jeans fit snug. This would likely be true even for a darker color of this style.)

I was disappointed in how heavy and long they were. They were returned. I live in the south where they could only be worn on a cold winter day. Certainly others in a cold climate would appreciate them.
