About the Author

Joy Ellis nació y creció en Kent, pero se mudó a Londres para trabajar como aprendiz de la prestigiosa artista floral Constance Spry. Después de regentar su propia floristería en Weybridge durante varios años, Ellis ejerció como librera hasta que un viaje a la isla griega de Esciros, donde participó en un taller de escritura organizado por Sue Townsend, la animó a escribir sus propias novelas. Poco después, Joy estableció su residencia en la región de los marjales de Lincolnshire, donde ha pasado muchos años viviendo en el campo acompañada de su pareja, Jacqueline, y sus adorados perros.
