Love freida's books but...

I’ve read so many of her books (usually without putting it down all in one day) but this one… I tried reading it over a span of a few days and couldn’t get far into it. I eventually put this one down and picked up a different one of her books.

Awesome book!

This is by far one of my favorite Frieda books that I’ve read. The plot twist I didn’t see coming at all and I think I have a pretty good insight (at times) when it comes to the characters in the books. Check it out you won’t be disappointed!

Not a Freida fan- sorry

(Mild spoiler alert, more like generalizations about details). I’ve read a few McFadden books and they all get so far fetched by the end. I know it is fiction and written to entertain. This was a fast read with twists and turns along the way. However… high school kids talk, tell secrets, gossip, post on social media, take pictures and screenshots. Schools and houses have video surveillance. High school Teachers do not give rides to students or close their door if alone with any student of any gender. The principal cannot do anything to a teacher and is not the person of authority in a school district. It is the superintendent and school board who would get involved if a student or teacher did something inappropriate. Just small details I that made the story hard to fully wrap my head around. I won’t read any more of McFadden books. If you love Freida, you’ll enjoy this book.

The word I would use to describe this book is…Meh. I’m surprised people rate this book of hers so highly, it’s definitely not one of her best works. I found it to be pretty boring and wouldn’t recommend wasting your time on it.

I love her books but this wasn’t my favorite. A lot of the other reviews say the plot twists were crazy but I kind of guessed what was going to happen about half way through. I’m not the type to leave a book after getting far enough along but to me- the book was predictable. Still a good read if you have time.
