I read this book with a glimmer of hope throughout it all and then comes the last five chapters.. my heart was ripped out of my chest and stomped into hundreds of little pieces. It was beautifully written with so much symbolism. It hits you with reality, especially after you read the second book. If you like sad romance, Romeo and Juliet style, read this. If you’re in high school, this would also be a good book to read. Props to the author. I’d never felt like that after reading, seeing, or watching anything ever. I was so hurt for a little bit. But it’s a good book. :)

I’m so happy I listened to the reviews! I devoured this book within 4 hours, (I have dogs and a kid as distractions) but within the first 45 minutes I was already on chapter 32 and I needed to finish the story to find out what happened! Easy read, good storyline, there’s this beauty and sadness to this young love. I highly recommend this book to anyone.

I bought this book because it had high reviews. I didn’t read anything about it. I figured it was some kind of love story and in one sitting finished 15 chapters. I couldn’t put this book down. It took me 3 days to finish and is a very easy read. Once I figured out what had happened my heart was broken. This book is horribly wonderful. If you are a hopeless romantic please prepare yourself.

I absolutely love this book. I love the love story and the poetic way that this book describes the characters and their feelings for one another. As well as the metaphors about the tiaras. I just finished the second book and It is also great but prepare to be in a deep depression afterwards.

I rue the day I picked this book up off the target bookshelf and thought it would be a happy addition to my recent string of romance novels. This book is absolutely wonderful, but do not read it. Not unless you enjoy pain on a level I didn’t think a mere romantic coming of age story could insight within me. I couldn’t sleep for two days after reading it, the characters took up too much space in my brain. It was a month before I felt brave enough to pick up the sequel, because apparently I’m a full blown masochist. I made it about a hundred pages in before I couldn’t take it any longer. If you value the happy place inside your head, just say no to this fantastically soul crushing book. May you never feel this level of pain in the real world.

This book is so cringy I only bought it because tik tok said it was a good read. To long of a story to be boring. Maybe would be good for like middle school kids minus some inappropriate stuff. But overall supper cringy. And the tiaras are super unnecessary.
