My granddaughter was so excited to get this Christmas morning. She & her Dad set it up as soon as the presents were opened. She is only 5 & has mastered the 100 so she's looking forward to using the 125.

I recently bought this for my first grade classroom. The students love it. It's huge, so they can sit on it or near it to manipulate numbers. I love the tools that it includes. The students can quickly determine one more, one less and ten more, ten less, by using the T-shaped frames. They can add or subtract using the inflatable cubes. It's highly interactive and very engaging for less motivated students. It's great for math centers or math games. It's made from durable plastic, which is great, since the students crawl all over it.

Should start with zero Each row should start with 10's number Will make my own from felt. All number charts forget zero...children see the number pattern quicker with zero first. 0 to 9 then 10 to 19, 20 to 29 etc.

When it comes to maintaining and gaining new math skills, Learning Resources makes so many wonderful options that is can be hard to choose! We love the Make A Splash math mat because it can be used in so many different ways and is able to accommodate many levels of math skills. The math mat comes with instructions for seven different math-focused activities that can be done alone, in pairs or in small groups. I like that the girls can be self-starters on with this and work on their math skills together, or with me working with them to further grow their skills. This set comes with More/less frames that help children physically visualize number paths so you can talk through if numbers are more or less than the initial number.

Make A Splash made math fun in our house. My Little One gets so excited to demonstrate her math skills with Make A Splash. Make A Splash is super easy to set up, comes with a ton of pieces, is easy to store, and super easy to clean. I love that it is a plastic material and can easily be wiped clean. The mat itself is really large as well. Whether you want to have fun with numbers at home or school, this is a product that I recommend. I homeschool my kids and we love doing activities to learn, rather than always being stuck in a book. The Splash Mat helps us to do that for adding, subtracting, etc. Though I use it with only my two, I can see how this could easily be used with a larger classroom. The "dice are plastic that you blow up, which means that they are soft and won't hurt if a child rolls them too hard. The mat is a thin plastic, which isn't my favorite, but it also lasts a long time and folds up very easily for storage and future use.

You have a lot of options with this game that allow you to easily differentiate for your students. The mat is high quality and large. The dice are interactive and perfect for small hands. My students were SO excited to use this during math stations! Although I received this product free for review, the opinions are mine and 100% honest!
