This is such a fun way for younger children to learn while playing its great for colour/shape and number recognition
Easy to play i think even a younger and older child could play together using the different cubes to match their learning levels my four year old really enjoys this and even uses the mat for imaginative play and I've used the counters for her maths school work so we get alot of use out of this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This looked like a giant hopscotch board, but really didn't play that way. It also seems much more geared to multiple kids playing instead of just one and a parent. We'll see if we grow in to it (my son is three).

I love that I can modify this game such that both my 4 year old and 2 year old can play and learn. They play together, but using different rules so the older one is learning numbers while the younger one is learning shapes and colors.

Mary loves to play board games so when we found out about Crocodile Hop, we were really excited to try it out. It's a completely interactive game so you can play and have so much fun with your kids. This game would also be great for kids with learning disabilities too. You play by rolling out the mat, blowing up the dice, and jumping till you win! We had a blast playing and I bet you will too!

If you are looking for a fantastic fun game that will help kids learn without even knowing it this is the game for you. The Crocodile Hop game is fun and my kids love playing it. What I love about this game is that it is a get up and go game. It is perfect for rainy days or any day really. While playing children will learn colors, shapes and numbers. While working on their problem solving, social, and gross motor skills too! Children will hop, I love that the cubes are inflatable, it makes storing the game easy and playing not so stressful. I worry about my kiddos throwing game pieces at each other and with inflatable cubes I don't have to worry about anyone getting hurt or anything breaking. This game is nice also because it can be played alone or with a group. It really is the perfect bad weather game. When stuck inside kids go a bit stir crazy (we all do) so it is so important to find ways to let out their energy. This game will help them let out their energy, learn, and have fun all at one time!

We have had so much fun playing the Crocodile Hop Floor Game! My boys love the blow up dice and trying to hunt for the color or shape on the board. I love that it gets their wiggles out and teaches them at the same time! The shapes and colors are spaced pretty close together so sometimes they would pass right over the closest shape/color they were looking for and move right down the line to the first one their eyes saw. Still, it didn't seem to bother either of them and it made the games go quickly so we could play several times in a row without getting worn out. The game stores well as the dice are inflatable so it doesn't take up a ton of storage space which is nice. Overall a cute and fun game that reminds me somewhat of hopscotch.
Disclosure: I received this game for free to review on my website, A Mom's Take. Opinions are my own.

We had a great time playing this game...we have finally found a game that the 3 year old can play without fear of ripping or breaking anything. It is brightly colored, soft and no hard corners anywhere. They have decided to use themselves as place markers which leads to lots of laughter. The boys love the oversized dice while I like the educational aspect- colors, shapes and counting. A great game for preschool children and their families!

First off I have to say, we love this game! It is not at all like a traditional board game, and the possibilities to play are endless! Even though my oldest is 4 years old, he does not understand board games and rules (and taking turns much) at all, with Crocodile Hop he gets it! It comes with just a few pieces which I love because its less for us to loose! The vinyl mat is huge, like 6 feet or so, and so bright and busy. There are different shapes, colors and numbers on the mat, with a starting point at one end. Then you get two inflatable dice with shapes and colors on them, and a pack of 40 cards but we haven't even used them yet. There is also an instruction book that comes with the game that has different Activities and Games to play for both home and classroom use. This game teaches so much, including shapes, colors, numbers, and animals that it is great for kids of all ages (recommended age is 3+ or PreK.)
We spread Crocodile Hop out on our living room floor and took turns rolling the dice. I would call out what the dice rolled and my boys had so much fun finding it on the mat and hopping over to it! I also plan on using this outside in the grass when we get some nice weather out here - its like a more advanced version of hopscotch! There really are not too many games that I see educational value in or my boys understand (they are 2 and 4) but Crocodile Hop is great for them as they are learning as they play! The inflatable dice is big enough for little hands to throw and not loose and it really is a kid-friendly game. I really don't have anything bad to say or anything I'd change as I really do like this game!
