doesn't work well. you could push in all the teeth but it dies nothing. was too busy to return this one item so now I can't. waste of money. so is the similar pirate in the center/Mario in the tube toy where you stuck knives or whatever in the sides until the toy pops up. same problem. they are cheap bc they don't work. in my opinion this is a $1 toy and I was savagely taken advantage of. even if it worked it isn't worry it. I only got it to play with my toddler but she was so disappointedband frustrated that it didn't work that we all just avoid it. it's cheaply made. it just gets struck. if it does work you can tell when you are near because the teeth are super hard to push down. you don't even have to push the actually tooth because any hard tooth in the area triggers the bite. it's either that "shuts too easily" or you just go back and forth pressing the teeth until all are down and nothing happens. then you continue this until hopefully it works but again, when it works it basically clamps shut no matter where you press. it's probably the most terribly disappointing toy I've ever played. those "mousetrap" like gears or whatever just don't work. great idea, bad design and execution. I wouldn't pay more than a penny for it and it would just be to look at.

Not working

Doesn't always work right, but my kids love this game. They do get scared for the chomp, so they use pencils instead of their fingers! I’d a new favorite for my kids

Fun game my 4 years old loves it but sometimes it glitch

Teeth don’t stay down and when you lie one tooth down, others come back up. And if you’re able to get all the teeth down (big “if”) then sometimes the mouth doesn’t even close.

Cheaply made game. Did not hold my little’s attention for very long.

Going to return it to the store. You can push all the teeth down and it still won't "chomp" on you. Also at other times, teeth won't push down and when you push other teeth down, it causes the rest to pop back up.

One half side of the teeth dont stay down

Doesn't work. Complete piece of junk. Kids were excited to get it for Christmas and then quickly got upset because it doesn't work. Half the time you can push every tooth down and it won't close its mouth. the other half of the time some of the teeth won't even go down.

Very small and cheaply made. The top of the mouth pops off easy. Kids had fun with it but wish it was better quality.

The mouth won’t stay open to play.

My children absolutely love this simple game. It’s easy enough for my two year old to play even though the age range is labeled higher. They love the anticipation.

Didn’t work properly from the moment we got it. Straight out of the box and many of the teeth would not push down or you would push one down and all the teeth would pop back up. Played multiple times, trying to get it to close and only got it to shut its mouth once. Also feels extremely cheaply made. Overall a huge disappointment. I wish I had opened and tested it out before Christmas, because it was a very disappointing gift

This toy was very underwhelming to receive. It was so tiny and the color also seemed a bit off. It doesn’t really impress

Worked for a day. Never dropped, not pushed down improperly, just quit closing. The original was far better in it full size version the tweezers to pull teeth, sound affect, and movement.

Very cheap and it doesn’t really work most of the time. All the teeth can be pushed down and it never “chomps”.

There is nothing on this description that tells you this is the miniature version of the game. I got this for $5 on Black Friday. But I thought I was getting the full size one. This should be advertised better.

Feels a little cheaply made. Doesn’t work every time. But the kiddos really love it and it seems to bring hours of fun and laughter!

Not as big as it used to be to be.

This is a timeless toy that doesn't require batteries, takes a little brain power, and has an element of surprise that rambunctious little ones love. My toddler is also super destructive and wreck less but has yet to break this so that's pretty impressive!
