Description

Slide into the fun with the Chutes and Ladders board game! Kids can have so much fun trying to get to the top of the game board without slip-sliding down. They spin the spinner and move along the numbered squares on the gameboard, trying to reach the 100 square first. The ladders can help players get there faster but they need to watch out for the chutes that can sweep them further away from the win. No reading is required to play this board game and it can give preschoolers a chance to practice their numbers. Cute game, small baked though and surfing only 3 characters.. but board is rather small. Not sure how it compares to the original. Also… can’t help but to think my husband inspired this piece.

Terrible board design. It’s overly crowded, confusing for kids to see which direction they are going. Cant fit two people on the same space. Not like it used to be

The game board is not like it used to be. It seems over crowded and it is very confusing to try to figure out which way to go.

I went to buy this classic board game for my children and found the quality disappointing. As other have stated, it's hard for kids to count the spaces. I also wish it came with more than 3 players.

Busy design makes this harder for younger kids to play independently. Would only buy on sale.

Love the classic chutes and ladders game. The design of this version is frustrating bc the board is super busy and it’s not easy for kids to tell which direction to move the character. We still play it though and, now that my son is 5, he’s gotten better at understanding which way to move his character. I’d try to find a simpler, more classic version of the game if I was purchasing for someone else… but I got this on super sale so i can’t complain too much. Just a heads up for future buyers!

The player pieces are too big for the spaces which makes it really confusing to keep track of where you are in the game. Also, the board is super confusing, they don't make it clear what way is which and it's very small compared to the original.

So cheaply made. Spend the extra dollar and make something that will last. The folding board tore apart within a couple of games. The spinner won't last much longer. The game pieces are too big and spaces too small.

Very confusing board - the track is set up like a winding ribbon, which, alongside the chutes and ladders, is very hard to follow). That, plus the fact that the game pieces are entirely too large for the spaces on the board, make it very difficult to keep track of play for adults, let alone children.

My kids (3 and 5yo) had fun, but there are definitely some issues with some of the logistics of this game. For my kids, it’s was difficult to follow where they needed to go I think because it was so curvy? Also, the game pieces were way too big for the spaces on the board. We ended us using other things we had around the house. I don’t mean to sound old, but this classic didn’t need so much updating.
