Description
This Battleship board game is the classic game of naval combat that brings together competition, strategy, and excitement! In head-to-head battle, 2 players search for the enemy's fleet of ships and destroys them one by one. With convenient portable battle cases and realistic looking naval crafts, the Battleship game puts players right in the middle of the action. Players command a powerful fleet that includes an aircraft carrier, a destroyer, a submarine, a patrol boat, and a battleship. Each player announces the coordinates of each strike and sees if it hits. Position ships strategically to survive an opponent's relentless strikes, and track hits and misses with red and white pegs on the ocean grid. No ship is safe in this game of stealth and suspense. It's a fun indoor activity for kids ages 7 and up, and it's easy to pack up and take on the go.

The gameplay is the same as the one I had as a kid but the pieces are much tinier. Not for households with little kids. There’s a learning curve teaching someone who’s never played before but it’s easy to catch on. It can get frustrating when you don’t have a hit but so rewarding when you do! Good for teaching strategy and brain power. No screens involved!

Fun and compact and packs up easily. Love a game that closes in on itself and latches so it doesn't fall apart everywhere in the game bin. My six year old and I play this and have a great time (and when I get tired of playing because she still doesnt' fully get it I just lie and let her sink all my battleships.) I think with an older kid it might take like 15-20 minutes to complete the game?

don't buy
don't waste your money, pegs constantly fall out. kids have hard time putting pegs in without 3 or 4 falling out. super frustrating. if your try to push pieces in harder to get them to stay they snap in half. cases are warped leaving gap. we ended our game short and will be returning
