Perfect game for developing addition and subtraction skills!

This is a great game to develop children's number fluency in a fun, exciting way! It was easy to motivate all ages of children to want to do 'maths' through playing this game! Love how you can practice addition and subtraction within the game and it is visually pleasing to use. The instructions are simple and easy to follow and a 6 year old was able to easily play with a 9 year old. It is a great problem solving game and also got the children to verbalise their mathematical thinking! Will definitely look to use the multiplication and division version too.

    Love this!

I'm so happy we found out about this. My kids will play all night long if I let them. But they won't practice math facts all night long. Now they do and they don't even realize it.

    Great Home Education Tool

My son is 5 years old and has completed Kindergarten and now working on First Grade curriculum. He loves math and has picked up very quickly on how the process works. This has been our afternoon activity the last few days though as he loves "beating mom" to get the matches and finding that number first. I love how it is versatile in that you can work on both addition and subtraction. The cards included are varied as well which allows for simple or complex equations to stretch their minds a bit further.

They're Learning and Don't know it!

My girls are 4 and 6, in Preschool and Kindergarten. They love playing this game, we tweak it so it only uses numbers up to 20 for now but they ask to play this game every morning!

    Great Math Game

My kids love the Tri-Facta Addition and Subtraction Game from Learning Resources. This is a great way to get you child to practice their math and have fun while doing it. We play this game frequently. It's even fun for a family game night. This game works on the simple concept of trying to add 2 numbers to come up with the sum. Each player has cards that they have to play. You use these cards to try and make a number sentence. We opted to play the game with the cards face up. I mostly did that because my daughter who is in Kinder was playing as well. The game is geared towards children in 1st grade and up. However, my daughter was able to play too with a little help. My 2nd grader really got the hang of the game quickly and enjoyed it too. It was really neat to see him use his math skills to create math sentences with the cards. Sample provided for blog review.

    AMAZING Learning Tool!

My 1st grader and I played this game for about an hour and he couldn't get enough of it - he was flying through the cards at a speed I had never seen before. He was even faster than me! Any 'game' that is educational AND keeps my child's attention for an hour deserves HUGE kudos in my opinion!

    I LOVE this game!

As soon as I opened the package, my teacher-heart jumped for joy. I could not believe I was holding such a powerful learning tool in my hands....AND I knew that my daughter would think it was FUN. Tri-FACTa teaches children the same way many of them are learning in school, through fact families. I love that this game challenges kids to learn their math facts in a FUN and non-threatening way. Kids are actively engaged during play, and their minds are working to make connections throughout game-play. This could be a real game-changer for kids who have been struggling to learn their addition and subtraction facts.
