Fun and Multi-Faceted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great toy for kids that are learning math basics and also need work on their fine motor skills. I also found that my older child enjoyed using this toy as a tool for teaching my younger child so it was a pleasant surprised when they played with it together!

Love the concept.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent, I love this game! My 6 year old daughter, not so much. She does really good with math at school but it's hard to keep her entertained. I think it's a great way to try to make learning more fun. A great way to get the kids thinking. I like that theres different ways to play but I've made up my own ways because it was "boring" to my daughter. I think maybe a talking version would make it more entertaining for some kids. My daughter kept wanting to walk away. The concept is amazing and simple. But if my daughter won't play it, it defeats the purpose of it. If your child isn't hard to entertain, I recommend it fully!

Educational Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dumpling Dash Fine Motor Math Game is a fantastic game for children and families. Compared to other products we've tried, it stands out due to its engaging gameplay that combines fine motor skills with math concepts, making learning fun and interactive. It's been a great way to keep my kids entertained while they learn, making it ideal for us. Additionally, the colorful and playful design captures children's attention, encouraging them to play longer. This game provides excellent value for the educational benefits it offers. I wholeheartedly recommend Dumpling Dash to friends and family looking for a quality educational game that their children will enjoy. I received this item at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

Educationally fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed playing this with my child. Usually when it comes to anything educational my son will have nothing to do with it. This was fun to play without it feeling like school. The instructions were easy to understand without it being too easy, just enough challenge to make it interesting

Fun game for fine motor skills practice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game is a fun way for kids to practice math skills like counting, addition and subtraction while also working on fine motor skills. My child loves using the chopsticks to pick up the dumplings and I love that it feels more like play than learning. The design of the game is colorful and engaging. The chopsticks are easy for little hands to use and the dumplings are adorable. The rules are simple enough for kids to understand quickly. It's also nice that the game has different difficulty levels so it stays interesting as your child gets better. It's great for family game nights or when a group of kids wants to play together. It's also compact and easy to store which is always a plus. If I had to suggest one improvement it would be to make the dumplings a little easier to grip for younger kids who are still building their coordination. But honestly it's a small thing and doesn't take away from how much fun the game is. Overall the Learning Resources Dumpling Dash is a great mix of fun and education. It's perfect for kids around kindergarten age and would make an awesome gift or a fun addition to your game collection.

Great for teaching math

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this for our son as he is now in kindergarten and starting to learn math. Visually this game is so appealing and cute. I love the aesthetic. It's so funny watching the kids use the tongs as chopsticks. This really helps build fine motor skills as they really need to focus on grabbing. So far all the numbers the kids picked were able to be added or subtracted to equal the number on the card chosen. I love how this makes the kids think and they get so competitive too. There is nothing wrong with constructive competition. Our son is just in the beginning stages of learning addition so it's a little challenging for him, but I feel like since he loves this game, over time it'll be so much easier for him to get it down and pick up on math quickly. I love this little dumpling game. Love love love and highly recommend for little ones.

Adorable dumplings, magnificent math!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment I opened the package, my 1st grader was excited to play! She was engaged and couldn't wait to try it out. Thankfully, it requires next to no time to set up (literally ready to play in less than 30 seconds), and there were numerous suggestions for ways to play included. This resource is truly amazing, as you could use it for preschool, all the way through upper elementary. Number recognition for the younger kiddos, addition and subtraction (1-10, or 1-20) for the middle ages, and even to work on the order of operations with the older kiddos. I may even make some of our own number cards for multiplication & division down the line. There are so many ways you can use these dumplings! The basket, dumplings, and tongs all feel like great quality. I do have concerns about the graphics on the dumplings rubbing off over time (faces, but more importantly the numbers), but only play time will tell. I also thought the cards could be a bit more sturdy; they weren't bad quality, but younger ages tend to be rough on cards. I highly recommend this to anyone that has a younger kiddo in their life. This unique math game is sure to entice even the most reluctant of mini mathematicians! TLDR: Easy set up, variety of play for varying ages, quick pick up - get this for quality math practice time. I was given this adorable game, free of charge, in exchange for my honest review.

So much fun!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First this was SO much fun to play! My daughter is in first grade and absolutely loved it so much that we played for an hour the first time! The pinchers are easy to use to pick up the dumplings. My daughter through the dumplings we just absolutely adorable, of course she loved getting the "freebie" star dumplings. The only con is it should come with the actual plus and minus cards. My daughter needed me to make them on paper so she could see the equation she was trying to make, especially when we used all four dumplings that you pick up.
