[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this set to compliment the Melissa and Doug Diner. The pretend play opportunities with this set are great. I have a 18 month old and 6 year old and this keeps their attention for an extended period of time. I love that it appeals to both of them and they can play together. They love the pretend play of cooking and serving. We have several sets of you food and those made by Learning Resources are of far superior quality.

My kids love anything that has to do with cooking and restaurants! This is a perfect gift for kiddos who love pretend play and it pairs well with other Learning Resources products like the cash register. Love it for my four year old who is learning more about counting and money!

I bought this set for my preschool class and it was a hit! They loved the placemats that look just like the ones at real restaurants. I love that they're heavy duty and dry erase so my students can write on them over and over again. The guest check is also dry erase. The food quality, as always, is excellent. Learning Resources food has always been my top choice for our dramatic play centers. The food is pliable, which makes it more realistic for kids. I wish the set included all the menu items, but I will be in the lookout for matching menu items. Overall this teacher and class give this set five stars!

The Serve It Up Play Restaurant Set is fun and educational at the same time! My girls loved playing both the waitress & customer and learning the different aspects of both. Kept them both busy for awhile! Love that they get to practice real life skills with money and deciding on a menu what they want. I even got to be the customer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three year old granddaughter has a large supply of toys that I keep at my house. The Learning Resources Serve It up! Play Restaurant is one of her favorites. She is with me a few days every week, and this is one we play each time she is here. She is very imaginative and loves to take my order, then take it into the kitchen where she has the food from the Serve It up! Play Restaurant, put my food on a plate, then serve it to me. She asks my opinion on the food just as she has heard waitresses do in the restaurant. She's very intelligent, and I feel that this toy stimulates her math, and surprisingly, she has learned to add from the restaurant toy, and it also has improved her vocabulary. This one is a great learning tool on many levels.

My children really enjoyed this play restaurant set. The food is high quality, very well-constructed, will withstand lots of play. The playset comes with of menu which makes it a lot of fun to play restaurant. The only downside I saw to this was that there are also other items that are listed on the menu but not included as play food. This was fine for us as we already own other sets of play food so we could collect our additional food to serve up at the restaurant. It would be a great beginner set to start with and then add other play food. I also loved the math educational aspect of the serve it up! Play restaurant set. My older children which already do addition could calculate how much money (which is included) they needed to purchase the play food. They had fun for hours!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old daughter absolutely loves this game, I do wish the money was not paper but laminated as well. My daughter is very active an outgoing an never sets down long enough to eat let alone play with something for longer than 5 minutes. But she was so invested into this game she especially loves when her older sister plays with her ordering food or making the food for her as she would be a customer.

Good quality and easy for them to use, the size is great for them. I wasn't aware of this toy prior to this but it is something I would purchase. Love the menu.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3.5 years old was fascinated by the playset right away. I engaged with her the first time to show her the various pieces in the set and how to use them, it was very easy for her follow and understand. She takes her set out when ever we have guests and will pretend to have her own restaurant and improvises when someone requests an item that's on menu but not in the play set. I have not used the currency with included the set, i think it'll be usefull when she is a little bit older. The set improves her imagination and helps a lot in using specific language and also increases her vocabulary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 boys one 3, one 10 months. The 10 month old likes to chew on the toy steak as he plays with his brother. The 3 year old likes to pretend play with the set. We recently started teaching him about money and basic math with money. This set had some pretend money in it which helped enrich what we were teaching him. The toys are very durable and pretty realistic. I had been wanting to find play food that appeared somewhat realistic. I definitely recommend this product.

It teaches role playing, serving, taking orders, learning about money and currency, to name a few. The play set comes with realistic money and coins, a reusable order "book", some food, dishes and placemats.

It seems better quality and lacks that gross plastic smell, so that was a plus! I have already bought the Serve It Up! Play Restaurant for my niece and she loves it just as much as my daughter and son do!! I was completely unaware of the Serve It Up! Play Restaurant until this program and I wish I know it prior because it's a great! I have and will continue to recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea behind this is cute and the products are very well made, no crushable cheap plastic here. The items are colorful and the menu and placemats are very fun and reasonably durable. They advertise them as wipeable but don't include any markers so if you don't have dry erase markers you'll need to purchase them. I also feel as though the particular food items they selected to include are not particularly child friendly. My kids have broad pallets but aren't interested in bell peppers, asparagus and steak. Perhaps more broadly appealing veggies such as peas, carrots or green beans could have been substituted. The set has almost everything they need to create meaningful and engaging play. The money is a fun touch and is very useful and educational.

The only reason I gave the toy 4 stars is because there are too few food items. It would be great if all of the items listed on the menu were actually included. She was disappointed because many items, for example the chicken which is on the menu, was not in the box. Aside from that, she has really enjoyed playing with the toy, and I must say - I enjoy playing with it too.
