Trash building experience, every piece on the inside of the car is tiny and frustrating to build.

Nice but not nice?
Nice set but very tedious and technical. Pieces feel loose. Doors when closed are not secure. Body panels feel flimsy. But a very cool set nonetheless the less. Looks great when done but getting there is another experience. This will be my last Technic set. It will round out my Mustang and my Shelby Cobra.

Missing pieces 3/4th of the way into building the car. Not Target’s fault but Lego should be more on top of it with quality control because we had missing pieces from a different set purchased from the same store a couple months back.

False Advertising
The car is good, however, in some of the product photos the black gear is missing from the roof of the car when it's supposed to be there. This has clearly been edited out or removed by Lego to make it look nicer for some pics, when in actual fact it's not the exact product you're getting. Not a surpise though, lego have a history of doing this. Would recommend this product still, with the correct photos.

Okay build
Not very impressed with this set at all. DIRECTIONS need a lot of improvement. Not all steps are explained, which leads to guessing, which means who did the instructions needs help and shouldn't ever to instructions again. Not all parts line up. Not impressed with this set at all. Not really impressed with the kego company af all either. 1000% over priced products, and for the over priced products, well stickers should already be done in the factory. Stickers are for kids, not adults. Lego group needs a lot of changes.

Awesome First time Build
I purchase this kit before my major surgery, keep my mine off my painfull recovery. I own a 2022 Mustang GT so I wanted stay with the Mustang family. My very first build. All went well on the build, some item did not match the number in the manual. Overall enjoyed the build. I ordered the Shelby Cobra for my next build.

Anither Great Lego Texhnic
Overall, a fun quality build. Looks great too. Had two pieces marked 43 and referenced as 32 in the instructions. Door mechanism is innovative with the ball joints, but doors feel sloppy and do not close tightly. Recommend.

Solid first build
This was my first Lego set I ever built and it got me loving Lego to the point where I wanted to buy another quickly. It was fun, the 3d instructions made it easier, and it looks so cool on display.

Great but some trouble.
This build was a blast to make, however I found some missing steps and even the pages themselves throughout the build. For example, I believe it was page 200 and it went from 200 to 202. Also around step 300 around the end of bag 4 it skipped a step. Near the end I had to also figure out a way to attach the long bar peice under the front bumper. I wasn’t sure if this was a thing other people experienced but it was present in my book. The wheels were also a bit loose in the sense that whenever I pushed the car forward then back they folded in but that may of been a user error. Otherwise, the final product and other parts of the build were lots of fun. I enjoyed working on the spoiler and suspension system, and the end product was satisfying. It is also an amazing bang for buck. I would recommend this set a lot, especially for car people who understand its history .

Differentials and Gears!! Oh My!!!
My wife bought this kit for me for Christmas. Assembly took about four evenings, two to three hours each. My dad (spending Christmas with us) was enthralled by the working differential. First, some praise. This is a fantastic model and a fun build. Everything (with two exceptions covered later) feels very sturdy and I'm not scared that it will break when my cats shove it off a counter or something. The functioning differential, spinning engine, and fully independent suspension are marvelous! The moveable spoiler is nice, but more on that later. Moving on to non-compliments. Please understand that these are not criticisms or cons, just things that could be good or bad depending on you. I found the differential to be fiddly. I had to assemble and re-assemble it a few times before it was secured in the rest of the model. The Diff is a critical part of the model, it needs to be assembled correctly and then correctly installed. Many (read: A Whole Heckin' Lot) assemblies and sub-assemblies exhibit handed-ness (I think the scientific term is chirality?), especially for the suspension. This means that it's easy to assemble them backwards. Take care when you reach these parts. Steering is achieved through an easily-removable gear on the roof. This makes it easy to set a wheel-angle and then remove the gear for display. It also makes playing easier since you can roll the car and steer it easily through this gear. The down-side is that the steering-wheel is completely disconnected from the steering rack. The spoiler is moveable and connected to a lever in cab. The issue is that using the lever causes slop to accumulate in the mechanism. It's better to move both (spoiler and lever) simultaneously. I had a marathon assembly session Christmas day. I regretted this the next day as my hands hurt from forcing the pieces together (correct pieces, just snug). Good news? The parts fit snugly together, lending to the overall durability. And now for some criticisms. Firstly, at least one part was mislabeled. The illustrations were correct, but the number listed was wrong, and I have no desire to take it apart and put it back together to figure out which part. Maybe next year... One final issue. The doors never feel secure on the model. Their joint bends and flexes contributing to flimsy feel and worries of breakage. I would appreciate a red cross piece (first lego kit of my life, I have no clue what the parts are called), not the snappy-stud things, at the door-close position to secure the doors when down

This has been such a fun build. Challenging but lots of fun. The pieces fit together well, the car is rock solid when complete. A definite recommend!

Fun build, great to display
She's a challenging build this one! Had to rebuild the chassis due to a few errors my end but it's rewarding once you get the hang of the technical aspects. Looks brilliant on display and as always with LEGO, superbly detailed.
