I received this stapler as a gift from a classroom parent. It would easily jam, and though I liked it when it wasn't being finicky I was super disappointed when one day when I opened it to put in new staples, the metal strip that acts as the spring just flew off. Very disappointed as the stapler didn't last 3 months. For this price I expected much more, as did the parent who purchased it for my classroom. My students were never allowed to use it, so I was not due to use by children.
