Q: I'm looking for "letter" sheet protectors. You only sell "standard" in the store closest to me as of late. The ID# is the same, but the Standard sp's are heavier in weight. Is there some way I can get the "Letter" SPs and NOT the "Standard" SPs?

  • A: That's not actually true, Calimom. Standard says "Standard Sheet Protectors" and are heavier than "Letter Sheet Protectors." I used to purchase letters, but they stopped stocking them in my target. Letters were the perfect weight, size, and matteness--even the holes were punched correctly--and now all they sell are glossy, too-heavy standards with the holes catching on the rings as they turn. Bring back my happiness.

Q: I just opened these and they are all 1 ply. There is no opening at the top to put the paper in. They feel like they have an opening but then they come apart in to 2 different 1 ply sheets. Have you had any others like this?

    Worse quality, higher price

    As I am a teacher and use these fir organization and activities, I have purchased these multiple times. The last time was in Dec 2024 and I was very happy with the quality and the price. When I went to repurchase, only a year and a half later, not only was the price nearly $3 higher, the quality was definitely not as good! The old ones used to be able to fit multiple papers, quite a few, in each pocket easily. These seem flimsy and only fit maybe 5 papers in a pocket. Any more than that and the page won't lay flat, causing the papers inside to bend. This is extremely disappointing since now they are not near as helpful for organizing the way I need. What a waste!

    Don't Buy! DOES NOT FIT 8.5x11 Paper

    I should’ve read the reviews before purchasing… I’ll be returning them to the store. They do not fit standard printer paper (8.5x11) and the paper sticks out the top causing it to bend. It’s not neat. The quality is great as far as thickness and the value, however (the manufacturer needs to remeasure correctly.)

    The Absolute Worst

    These are the absolute WORST. Have you ever tried to unstuck the end of a roll of packing tape when you've forgotten to turn the corner of the end under? Without your glasses on? I WISH these sheet protectors were that easy to open. They were clearly designed by someone who hates teachers and wants us to waste a whole bunch of time being frustrated and miserable. Oh, and by the time you get them open and get the pages into them, they get all creased and wrinkled from the effort. Phooey.

    These do NOT fit 8.5"x11" doctuments

    Unfortunately, these sheet protectors do not actually reach 11 inches tall - thus the top of the documents sticks out the top. That's a huge bummer.
