Q: Is the paper quality good for double sided printing?

submitted by Sarah - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Sarah - 20 lb. paper is the best choice for everyday copying and printing. Heavier weight paper (24 lb. and up) has a more substantial feel and is a more appropriate choice for presentations and double-sided copying and printing. - Shell

I use to get this paper all the time, but thr last couple of purchases have proven disappointing. It’s fine is you’re only printing documents, but be warned if you need to make copies of them! The paper is so thing now, it gets caught in the scanner and jams it every time.

We've been buying Target's paper (500 count) for several years because it's less expensive. But the most recent packages (750 count) are horrible. The paper is thin and rough, a really strange combination. Bad enough that I'm considering simply recycling what's left and trying the 500pk again instead

This is the first time I've ever purchased terrible printer paper. it's terrible quality; the paper has a rough feeling to it and it kept getting stuck halfway when printing. As soon as I replaced the paper in my printer with a higher quality, my printer started functioning properly again. I'm putting practically the whole ream in the recycling.

I never write reviews, like ever… but I feel it necessary in this case to warn other! They changed the quality of this paper to be much thinner. No change in design or warning. I used to love to but this ream as I only buy one at a time for home use but the quality was the same as name brands. Not anymore! I’m constantly needing to tend to paper jams. It’s ridiculous. Switching back to name brand. The few pennies more will save the wear and tear on my printer (and all of the headaches… not to mention, wasted ink,!)

This used to be better quality, comparable to name brands, but the last ream I bought was terrible - thin, rough-feeling, off-white color. The only good thing about it was that it was cheap, but basically unusable. Too late to return, but I would have if I could.

This paper is awful. DON’T BUY IT! The printer constantly gives a no paper or paper jammed error with this paper but no other brand I’ve ever gotten. I bought 2 opened one and will return the other. If I could return it for being defective I would.

Just started using my new printer paper that I bought last month. I’ve been buying this brand for about 10 yrs, and I noticed that it’s thin, cheap paper all of a sudden. Very disappointed, since I use this in my classroom to print curriculum. Won’t be buying again. Do not recommend.

The quality of this paper has changed. I’ve been buying it for a couple of years but the package I bought recently was garbage. It does not feel like 20lb paper. I won’t be buying it again.

I’ve bought this paper for years and loved it. I don’t know if there’s a new maker, but it’s awful. Super thin and prints out wrinkly. I’ll probably just use it as scrap paper for my kids.

We have been buying this paper for several years because of the quality and value, but this last package is extremely disappointing- so much thinner than before and like others have said, it has jammed up our printer several times, it’s just awful. Please bring back the quality we loyal customers have come to expect and appreciate!

This is decent quality printer paper that we use in both our ink jet and low end laser printers. So far, so good. We haven’t experienced any paper jams and there have been no problems with the inkjet blurring. We originally tried to order 500 sheets but that was out of stock so we ended up with the 750 instead. No problem! It is actually a better value!
