500ct 100% Recycled Letter Printer Paper White - up & up™

I chose this paper because it says "100% recycled" in big letters at the top. However, on the back at the bottom corner it notes that the wrapping itself is plastic and NOT recyclable. So the 100% is misleading.

I always buy this paper. I use it at home and at work. The price is great. Paper isn’t cheap these days.

This paper gave me so many paper jams. I think having this paper company reduce this is way worse for the environment because of the amount of paper YOU WASTE. If you are trying to be environmental-friendly, I recommend you never buy this. To the people who made this, please discontinue this production.

This paper is absolutely excellent. I totally love it and appreciate it.

I like to know that I am helping the earth whenever I can. This recycled paper is great. Can't tell a difference between this and regular paper. Will buy again.

I’ve bought this paper for past 2 years and never had a problem. But my last 2 reams of paper have been terrible quality. So flimsy and they’ve been bending, wrinkling and getting jammed in my printer (from being so flimsy). Won’t buy again.

It’s paper. It works in my printer and my daughter loves to color on it. We’ll done Up & Up.

I was surprised at the poor quality of this paper. I'm all for recycling, and maybe I'm just spoiled, but if you have an important document to print, or even if you just want your printer page to look semi-professional, this will not do. If you're printing the market list, this will probably be okay. Just don't print your resume on this stuff or you'll be looking for a job for a long time.

I love that this paper is made of 100% recycled paper! It works great for what I need it for and I haven’t experienced any issues with it jamming up my printer. I just question why the recycled paper is more expensive than the paper that isn’t.

I've bought this paper before, and it was fine. Maybe target switched suppliers, but the pach I bought recently (May 2022) had to be returned, as it kept getting stuck in the printer. I checked to make sure it wasn't a printer problem. The printer worked fine with different paper. So I had to return the paper to the store. Hope somebody at Target sees this to troubleshoot the problem.

Printer has option for recycled paper so everything prints fine. Ink does not run or get dusty.

Exactly what I needed. Glad recycled materials were utilized as well. However, it was a tad expensive.

I love that it’s 100% recycled. It’s not for presentations or super important docs though. Very thin but I can live with that.

Great that it’s recycled paper but extremely flimsy and cheap feeling. Gives a whole new meaning to the term paper thin!! If you need this for a report or presentation I wouldn’t suggest it. If you are making copies for flyers or mass memos then would be great that’s why I have it 2 stars but didn’t work for me to use at home.

We primarily use printer paper for two things. The first is to just have white paper our son can color on. This paper is fine for that. The second is as printer paper for an inkjet. This paper is quite poor for that. So I love that the paper is 100% recycled, it is just very flimsy and thin. It is probably some of the lowest quality paper I've ever purchased. The inkjet even has problems feeding this paper in although it has never had a problem in the past with any other printer paper. So I'd say this paper is fine if you just want scrap paper to draw on with your kids. If you are actually going to use this as printer paper though I'd not recommend it.

The plastic wrapping completely ripped in the box during shipping and part of the ream got damaged on the open side, but hopefully it'll print fine putting the undamaged side in first, and I didn't want it to go in the trash if I returned it for a new one, since that would partly defeat the purpose of buying recycled, but WHY is it wrapped in plastic? I've never seen plastic-wrapped paper before, instead of paper-wrapped, and certainly recycled paper should be wrapped in 100% recycled paper wrapping, not plastic! So this wrapping does not work either intrinsically for people purchasing recycled paper, nor even effectively in staying closed and protecting the paper. Target, please change the wrapping to a recycled paper wrapping! Also, when shipping it alone, it would have been safer in a big (recycled paper) envelope, rather than in a box with air pockets, which still let it get bounced around enough to rip open and damage one edge. (Also, please write to your legislators and ask for recycled paper products to be subsidized to come down to the price of non-recycled! It's so disgraceful that of all things we subsidize, products made of recycled content are not, and absurdly end up being more expensive than non-recycled products, encouraging use of virgin materials instead of encouraging recycled.)

I went looking for this at my local target and they were all out of stock so I ordered it online which maybe defeats the purpose a bit. Quality paper, its better than the non-recycled kind of the guage, a bit thicker.
