A: The Libby cups do not have to be refrigerated if they are unopened. But, if you open the cup, any leftover should be refrigerated.

Way too much plastic!
Great vegetables and they are priced quite well. But I cannot buy a 4-pack of plastic cups when opening a can and heating it up and/or packaging it in reusable containers is so much less waste!

Convenient, easy, nutritious
I love these little Libby’s veggie cups.. I use them when feeding my infant Baby Led Weaning style. I just open and place on his high chair, I make a lot of fresh veggies too but these are easy to add with whichever meal I don’t that day (example: fresh veggies with dinner and one of these with lunch)

Why is it Bitter?
Been buying this for years and the past couple months I randomly end up with ones that are either good or bad. My 3 year old loves this corn but I knew something was wrong when he took the first spoonful and spit it out immediately. I took a taste and it was VILE, it was so bitter. I thought perhaps it was just a bad batch but the next couple buys we are horrible. Sometimes I get lucky with a good batch. It’s a bummer because we like the convenience of the cup.

Great Little Vegetables to Include In Care Packages
I love these little single-serve containers of vegetables. I put together food packages for some people who need help and these, together with single serve pre-cooked brown rice, and packets of dehydrated refried beans make some good little meals. Libby's also offers carrots, peas and green beans in the single serve containers. I add a fruit cup, a pudding, soup, single serve crackers and cookies among other things. Single serve chili, soup, stews, other shelf-stable meals... there is now an excellent variety of shelf-stable foods for care packages, so the recent addition of these vegetables is so good!
