  • A: RTP - ready to play. Not compatible with other gauge tracks by Lionel. Only those.

Q: Does this train stay on the tracks well?

  • A: Yes, I had to add the small reinforcement pieces to where the trains connect for them to keep connected. It took a few tries to get individual trains on the track. Once they are on they stay on the track. No problem.

Q: Do you have to operate the train using Bluetooth (phone, tablet, etc) or does it come with a remote control for us old school remote control folks?

  • A: This set does not come with a remote. It does have a switch that allows it to run automatically (conventionally) or can be chosen to run via Bluetooth on your phone or tablet.
