Belt for lift breaks everytime.
My son got 2 of these for his birthday last year and both belts broke on them. we juat got him 1 again 2 days ago thinking maybe the problem was fixed and it happened again. Target just needs to pull this toy from their store it does not last. Manufacturer does not reply. Don't buy this garbage!

Wouldnt reccomend
Broke as soon as we got home. The front wouldn't go all the way up. Just clicks and gets stuck. Then later( the same day) the part that holds the trash can broke. It drives forward and back makes noises and has a light on the inside of the cab. My child loves interactive toys. But this is terrible quality for what you pay for it. Definitely do not recommend 🫠

Broke the same day we purchased it. The side trash can tracks got off track and won't lift or go back down. Tried to contact the company about the warranty, since we threw the box away, but they have not responded to me and I don't think we can return it without the box. Disappointed.

Broke before getting out of box!
We hadn’t even finished getting it out of the box before the lifting mechanism for the garbage can had snapped. It was replaced and that one lasted two days. It inspires lots of interactive play, but breaks faster than a dollar store toy and should be priced accordingly.

This toy was broken during the first hour of play. The garbage can lift on the side will not move. I put new batteries in and it did nothing. this is a cheaply made toy and should be no more than $10 unfortunately. I will be returning.

Three year old loves this. It is a fun garbage truck but I took a star away due to the fact it breaks easily. We are on our third truck. I do think it’s priced well. So I’m ok buying another when it breaks because it does hold his attention for a long time. We have lots of garbage trucks and this is definitely in his top three favorites.

Here’s a cleaner, more readable version that keeps your emotion but makes it more helpful and persuasive: ⸻ If your child is under three, I would strongly recommend skipping this toy. It looks great, but in practice it’s incredibly frustrating for younger kids. The levers are difficult to operate, easy to mix up, and there’s no simple way for them to control the movements manually. This led to constant frustration and more meltdowns than fun in our house. Instead of encouraging play, it became something my child struggled with over and over again. I really wish I had chosen something more age-appropriate.
