I gave it two stars because it looks cool and comes with a fun monster jam truck. However it has many flaws that are mentioned in other’s reviews. The robot won’t activate when it’s hit by the truck. The launch pad comes apart when using it. Out of all the monster jam toys we’ve bought this was the only let down on quality and functionality

Broke after 2 hours of play
The mechanism to raise the robot back up broke after its first day of use. Item was a gift otherwise I would be returning it ASAP. Even when it was working for the first couple hours, the monster truck made it through where it was supposed to maybe 1/10 times. Would not recommend at all.

My son received two of these for his birthday. The first one we opened never worked and the other one broke after maybe two weeks. The lever that makes the smashbot stand up didn’t work on the first and stopped working on the second.

This is an absolute 10/10 for our family! My 5 year old got it for his birthday, but my 2.5 year old and even the baby loves it! What a total waste. As soon as the monster truck hits the robot it falls down. There is no way for the monster truck to get through the robot and into the track. Led to a frustrated child and parent. Buyer BEWARE. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Poorly designed.
Poorly designed. We love MJ products so this one is very disappointing. We JUST opened it so it hasn’t broken yet like the other reviews but the trucks just don’t make it peat the robot at all. It blocks it. The flap is so firm it just knocks the truck down. We have yet to make it through the robot to land on the track behind it.

Wish I read the reviews before buying. My son picked this out for his birthday present, but it broke within the first 5 minutes of being put together. My husband was able to fix it kind of, but the robot still breaks frequently leading to lots of frustrated kids and parents. Very cool concept but very disappointed in the quality of the toy.

Waste of money and ruined Christmas for my tot!
If I could give this zero stars I would! This toy is terribly manufactured. The cranking mechanism that pulls the robot back into place ends up getting off track within minutes of playing and the robot won't stand back up. My 3 yr old LOVED this toy. It was part of his big christmas gift, the first time he's ever seen a commercial and said "mumma I want dat!" So of course I had to get it. I ended up calling customer service after it broke and got another shipped, that one broke even faster than the first. Customer service was amazing, but there's just nothing they could do to prevent it from happening again so I took my loss and tossed it in the trash. He got 2 cool cars out of the deal, he still plays with them, but...I could have gotten him 2 cars for a fraction of the price I paid for this trash. Don't waste your money!
