1962 was a big year. Modernist design hit its peak and moved into homes across the country. And in Minnesota, Target was born - with the revolutionary idea to celebrate design for all. Project 62 embodies this legacy with a collection of modern pieces made for everyday living.
Assembly is pretty simple enough to understand - only issue is that the screws don't really fit in the holes where they should be. When I assembled the legs, it was wobbly; super afraid I messed up so I took out the screws and tried again but I guess that is just how it was made? When I screwed the desk to the legs, the metal had to bend to fit...seemed to work. Just screwing anything together was difficult because it didn't feel right and it was abnormally too tight like you screwed it in incorrectly and you messed up the materials.
So far it is holding up just fine, holds all my journals, random electric parts in the drawers. the electric plugs work (those screws didn't line up so it is crooked). I can fit my 15 inch gaming laptop and a 27 inch monitor with a lot of room to spare. Its really cute and it fits the style I have for my room (everything is wood and metal)
