Designed by idiots. The legs are stored in the back portion of the desk for shipping, so the storage portion of the desk is not as deep as you expect. When you screw in the bolts to hold the legs on, be careful you don’t drive them through the stickers that cover the back side of them.

This desk fits perfectly with my mid-century modern bedroom! I loved how simple it was to assemble and that the wood seems very solid (not cheap laminate). I just wish the cubby had a hole in the back for cords to go through because I like to store my laptop in one of them.
