Q: Has the recipe changed? These used to have a rich buttery taste and are now more neutral in taste and not so satisfying.

A: This is a follow up on my question. Although I called and the agent said the recipe hadn’t changed they couldn’t say if the make up of the artificial flavoring had changed. She said they would send a coupon for a free replacement but the coupon that came could only be used for a free product at a maximum price of $4.99 while these cookies vary from $5.69-5.79 so I threw it away. (It wasn’t a coupon with $4.99 off a product of any price.) Given this experience, the flavor change and the unhealthy ingredients and high price, not planning to buy again.

It has a good and satisfying “simple” taste. However it contains HFCS (high fructose corn sugar), which has been proven to have horrible effects on the body & health. Most manufacturers these days at least only use “normal sugar” (which is still bad enough but not *as* bad), I wish they switched too. I like the simple, light taste, but I limit myself VERY much in eating these because the ingredient(s) are just so bad.

These are a family favorite to snack on especially when traveling these are so convenient to take on the road. They are very satisfying and hit the spot when you are craving something sweet but not too sweet. These are also perfect to put out when having a family gathering or getting together with friends.
