Pepperidge Farm White Chocolate Lemon Cookies - 7oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Milano White Chocolate Lemon Cookies, and they were delicious! I’m a huge fan of lemon desserts, and these cookies hit the mark perfectly. The lemon flavor is strong and refreshing without being too tart. The white chocolate is subtle, couldn’t really be tasted. The texture is exactly what you’d expect from Milanos: a crisp, light crunch that melts in your mouth. I also love that they’re not overly sweet, which makes them perfect for a late night snack or even paired with a cup of coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I enjoy trying new things, so I took the opportunity to test a free sample of Pepperidge Farm Milano White Chocolate Lemon Flavored Cookies. I like that there don't appear to be any meat-derived byproducts in the ingredients. These are also a bit lower in sugar than some cookies, making them a little bit lighter snack, and the lemon flavor promises to be perfect for summer. However, these fall flat for me. They aren't objectionable, but I also don't enjoy them. Unsurprisingly, they are still much too sweet for me. I'm not sure why the choice was made to use white chocolate: it's all fat and sugar without much flavor. I think this would be much tastier paired with a yogurt coating, for example. The white chocolate offsets too much any tang you would otherwise get from the lemon, which itself mostly just tastes like how cleaning products smell. It was not a bold or tart flavor like I would have hoped. These might pair better with tea.

But I have to say that this cookie stole my heart! It has the best combination of white chocolate and lemon! I love the softness, with the perfect crunch! My husband and I couldn’t keep our hands off it! It pairs perfectly with any drink and I love that its not overly sweet!

You will LOVE these cookies. I’m a lemon fanatic and these taste identical to Girl Scout lemonades. Seriously they are so good I’m literally taking time to make a review

But these white chocolate lemon flavored cookies exceeded my expectation. They tasted almost exactly like the lemonade Girl Scout cookies my whole family tried them and we all love them. Love Milanos as a brand so definitely would buy these in this flavor again.!
