Q: what is the height of this bed from the floor and is the area inside where the mattress goes sunken? if so by how much?
A: The measurement from the floor to the bottom of the bed is 3". Luckily the wooden slats will fully support your mattress without it sinking down. If you're referring to the edging around the frame that holds your mattress in - then yes, that edging looks to be 2" deep, but I don't have an exact measurement.
submitted byEco Dream Expert - 5 years agoA: From the top of the footboard to the floor is about 10". From the bottom of the footboard to the floor is about 4". The area where the mattress goes is sunken in by about 2-3".

Q: is the white White or is it more cream colored?
A: This Macie bed is more of a cream-colored off white. It's not a cool, pure white. We hope this helps!

Q: Would using a box spring + mattress be too high?
A: It somewhat depends on how high your mattress and box spring are (they can vary quite a bit). If they are of the super-high variety, the only thing it might do is lessen the visibility of the headboard.
