Love how these look on our entryway table. My only suggestion would be to go in store and pick them out yourself since if you get them shipped they can arrive damaged.
good but damaged

I'm obsessed with Amber Lewis's designs. This book is definitely a must have for the design enthusiast. It also pairs perfectly with other books I have styled on my coffee table.

Liked the book but it arrived damaged. Target customer service: please wrap your books so the binding does not get ruined in the shipping box! I’ve read complaints about this before. Sadly, I will not order another book online from Target.

Honestly, this book sucks. I got into interior design so I ordered a bunch of books. I read this along with other books from other authors, such as Homebody (Joanna Gaines), Live Beautiful (Athena Calderone), new design rules (Emily Henderson). This book was a waste of time. It is full of repeated photographs. Author offers no tips or insights besides how to stage pillows on a bed. The book was written in a very casual tone like a voice just blabbering on with no depth. I learned absolutely nothing from this book. It is a waste of time to read and was just a waste of money. Athena Calderone’s book shows photographs of beautiful homes and highlights different homeowners/designers from around the world and lists the vendors / go to places that they shop at for home goods. Emily Henderson’s book is very detailed and you will learn a lot. For example, it goes through definitions of different parts of a window, types of materials, finishes, etc.. it’s a very in-depth book that highlights from renovations to design. Joanna Gaines’s book also teaches about various core design styles and goes through design options for each area of a home. In summary, this book was poorly written. I still have no clue what the author wrote about and was trying to showcase as it seemed to be a bunch of cluttered jibberish. All the homes featured in the photographs all had similar style and featured products from her furniture line/store. I could’ve just read some furniture catalog for free and it would’ve offered more insights.
Gorgeous!!

I'm disappointed! I did not buy this to be a coffee table book, which apparently every other reviewer did. I was hoping to learn some different style concepts. So if you love white walls and white cabinets with some wood thrown in, go for it. I flipped thru the whole book and not one picture has a colored wall. This is a very disappointing representation of "All sorts of styles"
Pretty photos, not great writing

Pretty coffee table book and overall Amber’s style truly fits what I actually love and create in my own home. That being said, this is solely a pretty-to-look-at, inspiration photo source for me, as aside from studying each photo to learn from - the actual writing was almost completely unhelpful. The tips are very generic and typically not what is needed to further existing design ability/knowledge.

Favorite favorite design book. To a T Amber’s voice and just so happy to have it live on my coffee table to flip through when I’m looking for a little extra inspiration♥️

I am so glad that I bought this book at Target when I saw it a few weeks ago. Apparently it must be popular because the store and others around me have sold out. It is an aesthetically pleasing book. I love perusing the pages and looking at Amber Lewis's beautiful interiors. There are tips on styling and paint, etc. which I find very helpful as well.

The images are stunning which is in line with all of Ambers design work...and is of course what lead me to purchase the book to begin with. However other than beautiful imagery, most of which I was already familiar with from her social media and blog, I felt that the book lacked deeper value. We already know White Dove and Simply White are go to paint colors and that mixing metals is on trend. I don’t know I guess I expected more advice that I could apply to my current home or our new construction project but I felt that I didn’t really leave with any key takeaways. I do however like the aesthetics of the book itself and it will probably find a place to live on my built ins.
