I ordered this item online. When I went to pick it up, there were none in stock. I should have been notified that it was unavailable. The person who helped me was very efficient and friendly so that is why there is at least one star. She gave me the number of another location and said I could check there. The people there were also very helpful and even checked in the storeroom to be sure it was there before I drove there. Now I need to pursue a refund for my online order.

I have had one of these since I was a kid which was over 40 years ago. Every time one has broken or stopped working, I’ve always gotten another. My kids would laugh or roll their eyes when I’d consult with the Magic 8 Ball to answer their questions. The thing has given many years of laughs. I’m sad to be buying a new one but grateful they are still being made. My life would have a huge void without the Magic 8 Ball.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Classic childhood toy. Ask it a yes or no question and say a little prayer the answer you want shows when you turn it over. Tap at it to get the air bubbles down a bit. Not for too young, they tend to drop or throw it and it can crack or leak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rating this product based on our office having one as it was misdelivered and never received at my home. This is a fun, whimsical item that is best used for yes/no type of questions. The inky liquid around the answers provides an air of mystery to the toy providing "answers" to your most burning questions. Quality construction, I have found they last for years with gentle use. Not a toy to play catch with as it can break when dropped.
