Its disintegrating with one use.
I’ve used this to gently grind Saffron once and the pestle is already disintegrating. I had to throw away the saffron I was using because of all the rock bits that were crushed up. I don’t have the packaging or else I would have returned it. Saffron is not cheap and this should not have happened. I’m extremely disappointed in the quality of this & upset I had to throw away my expensive herbs.

Good quality mortar and pestle
Finally found a good quality mortar and pestle. There are hardly any left in the store. I like that it is made of marble. It is never on sale so just had to buy whatever price it is for right now.
